He probably isn't judging by how much he lowered his average so he could join Poole next season.
-
Purely a coincidence. Most Aussie's too ~ strange.
-
Yes I will as I fully expect him to ride 100% for Poole, something he didn't always do for Coventry this season. I'm sure you've got a few riders you're never been keen on ~ Hans was one of mine, along with Troy Batchelor, Davey Watt, Darcy Ward and Krystof Kasprzak. Fortunately it's not a very long list.
-
Never mind about Hans ~ not bothered he's moved on to be honest ~ but this is brilliant news about Buildbase as it could have been a bit of a worry that John is retiring at the end of the year. No need to speculate now so many thanks Buildbase for renewing the contract for 2016. Not many clubs can say they've had the same sponsorship since 2004.

Bet I could guess who that was.

Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..
Gemini replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
OMG! Were the ladies toilets a bit better? -
It was funny though. (Sorry I've got a warped sense of humour....but at least I've got one.)
-
I've no idea why the original plan of The Storm riding on G.P nights changed in 2015, but I'm sure the promotion have realized their mistake and things will be different next season.
-
Good grief ~ that will be a blow to The White Knight as he might have to give up his protest and start attending matches again.
-
You're welcome and trust me that was my polite reply as a first time viewer who was easily able to work out which bit was which. But then I'm a woman so it was easy.
-
Judging by the Darcy Ward thread I think it might be a quick visit.
-
Okay I'll ask because I don't really understand decimals. How many more to make it 6? Is it .47? If so that sounds pretty near 6 to me.
-
Even I can work that out but as you seem to like being awkward....... This bit.... The problem is that Swindon is a growing 'new' town because it's along the M4 corridor, generally has good employment prospects and is semi-affordable by the standards of the South(-East) of England (along Swindon is technically in the South-West. There's also the fact that ramshackle old sports stadiums are relatively cheaper and more desirable to redevelop than other sites, plus in Toryshire they generally don't want/care about speedway as a general rule. In parts of the country though, there are indeed a huge number of empty and derelict houses. Unfortunately there's also poor employment prospects as well.

Chris is still one of my favourite riders and I love watching him ride at Coventry but not in the G.P's and I wish he'd just bow out gracefully. Still it won't bother me next season anyway because I won't be able to watch them now they've moved from Eurosport. Prefer your lot personally. You're welcome to him.
-
Well, in that case can someone please tell him that he won't.
-
The Magic Roundabout must be fun at rush hour.
-
Perhaps they're laying on a private plane for him. Anyway, I'm sure he's not bothered about paying for a bit of petrol when he's keen to stay in the G.P's where he must be losing loads of money. A few gallons of petrol is peanuts. Oh for heaven's sake there are some depressing fans on here. I think I'll give up for the Winter before I get suicidal tendencies.
-
No, it's just some Coventry fans being rather silly but then it is 'Silly Season' so can be expected I suppose. Are you trying to wind me up? No, we won't be genuinely hoping for KK's return or Bridger to be tempted out of retirement. I'm sure Chris will be riding for the Bees but why turn down a free meal at Belle Vue as he did guest for them a few times.
-
Yes of course it should. Yet another rule that wouldn't affect Poole.

Tai Should Never Ride For Team Gb Again
Gemini replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Ah.....that explains it. Can't remember much about the layout at Oxford. In fact I can't remember much at all these days. -

Those were the days when I used to drive over to Oxford when Coventry were riding. Happy memories but then dogs were banned so I stopped going. It always struck me as odd that at Cowley the majority of fans stood on the 3rd/4th bend rather than the 1st/2nd, which seems to be more usual at other tracks. Had some good times though as the Bees tended to do pretty well against the Cheetahs. Has this gone off topic? What a shame 'cos I don't care. -

You've not been back for very long yet so it's understandable you got confused. You'll soon realise why he's classed as a pillock ~ amongst other things. Pillock is quite mild actually. How are you doing anyway Steve? I think we met at Oxford a few times, although supporting different teams. Nice to see you on here again. It's been a long time. -
So where is the statement saying Garrity is going to Wolves then? Good luck to Joonas as I like him and am sorry he's not in the 2016 Coventry team. Like Scott, Simon Stead, AJ etc. I'm sure he'll always get a good reception at Brandon.

It was damn freezing with a gale force wind even though the sun was out. Sorry but I couldn't regularly put up with sun breaks and I'm not convinced nothing can be done either as surely some sort of screen could be erected even if it's just a big piece of black material? Wouldn't cost a bomb to sort out. I can't remember any tracks having these breaks years ago.

So David Hemsley doesn't own Leicester Speedway?
