I would imagine it's probably complete tosh, but I heard from somewhere that Jason is actually a millionaire? I was told though that this wasn't directly as a result of speedway racing - I think it would be nigh on impossible for a rider to amass that much. Even if you're Gollob...
I think one thing rings true about this - we're set for a cracking GP series next year. Lots of potential new riders of which all are capable of winning GPs. Bring it on!
This was posted on the workington comets twitter page last night:
Its such a shame to see clubs resorting to this - we all remember Newport doing this last year
Really?
Considering Tai has recently been promoted to the number one position at wolverhampton and has been on a consistent 8+ average all year, I beg to differ.
MJJ is on 6.58. I honestly fail to see your logic.
Lets not beat around the bush here, Darcy doesn't really have to qualify. I know it's a formality but we all know he's good enough for the GPs and would quite easily qualify by merit, if needs be.
Craig Cook is out with a broken wrist. Ben Barker takes his spot as 1st reserve and Josh Auty takes 2nd reserve.
Bit harsh on riders like Roynon/Woffinden in my opinion, but that's the way it goes.
I can't see why he won't get a pick to be honest. He's already proved that he can hack it in the GPs.
EDIT: I now realise that I was thinking of Martin Vaclulik... that's what you get for posting on these forums when you're supposed to be working
My thoughts exactly. I'd rather have no British representative for a couple of years, have a decent couple of SGP series with much better riders, to have a brit join in later on who can actually mount a serious challenge
just watching our men going through the motions is painful, degrading and detracts from the event itself.
