  1. Box office too... Interesting to see how the two truly world class riders on show tonight could handle the track... Men and Boys springs to mind...
  2. "Signed for a big club".. "You should have signed for a big club"... "Signed for a big club"... "You should have signed for a big club"...
  3. Who are Sheffield cherry picking for the home leg? Come on Ipswich... Doyley and Emil 23 between you (8-4 in 13 and 15), and game over... Can Ippo cherry pick a better reserve? A bad cold maybe for one of them? Anders Rowe maybe?
  4. It is clear, given his style, that he is concentrating on nothing more than "getting around the bend".... Which for a Speedway rider in a top Division team isnt great..
  5. Lambert is the only chance they have... Big pressure on 13 and 15....
  6. That is far too professional for UK Speedway.. It will cost money...
  7. I thought my stream had stopped then... It took Howarth so long to cross the line after the other two...
  8. Having a 'select team' in it isn't the greatest starting point for a "showcase event"....
  9. If Ippo don't win by 20 tonight they need their bumps felt... Only Lambert looks like any real opposition...
  10. Only a matter of time.... Ride the slick bit inside ffs..... Track is garbage....
  11. My lad just said that people complain about Monmore but at least the riders stay reasonably close together... Last week was similar in the Aces match with a straight between first and last.. Let's hope as it slickens off it gets better...
  12. Just set a team average using the mean average of all the riders in the grade.. Eg Mean averages of all riders in each grade. Grade A = 8, B = 7, C = 6, D = 5, E = 4... Team Average equals 30 in this instance.. That way the ones with the big money couldn't pay to get all the top end of each grade as they would not hit the mean average..
  13. You inevitably become too comfortable in your own surroundings.. The Aussies come half way around the globe and head to Britain, Poland or Sweden.. No surprise that a fair proportion of those that do it, go on to a much higher level than their UK counterparts... The Poles usually stay put and develop, but they run the risk of losing a team place if they don't perform, given the potential over there of so many, hence they either develop upwards or disappear quickly from the upper echolons....
