Ok then so how come Robert Lambert can compete at team level for team GB yet can go through the GP qualifiers on a German licence................ That is like saying that Tai can ride for Team GB but oh if you want you can ride for Australia................. RP PS If I am wrong then why has it been like that in the past..............

I know that Kylmakorpi is.........you can ride for the country that holds you hold the licence for but I was lead to believe that for team events if you had ridden for one country in an FIM event you could not ride for a different one.................unless that has changed recently.............. RP

Rory Schlein is a British passport holder due to residency so as it is not an FIM recognized event he is eligible to ride.......if it was an FIM event he can't ride as he has competed for Australia before....... RP

Never underestimate Newman..................unless he is still injured................did not ride for us last night after injuring himself in the GP challenge qualifiers at Gorican at the weekend................ RP

Sorry but what has That Belle Vue meeting got to do with this.............I was one of the Poole fans who did not want it run.............but then again remember if Belle Vue had not faked a burst water main when the original meeting should have taken place then none of that would have happened............not Poole's fault that Belle Vue could not get their riders back in time..........funny how Matej Zagar was tweeting about being bored in a Manchester hotel room the same night.................... Oh give it a rest................safety is paramount in any sport no matter how dangerous it is.................if you read the article it was Nicki P and Greg Hancock who were the ones who consulted with the other riders before doing anything............... The way some people are talking on this thread and elsewhere are talking it should have continued and stuff the safety aspect..............that track was an accident waiting to happen..................as soon as it was realised at practice the meeting should have been moved to one of the many amazing purpose built stadiums................ Rider safety is more important than making millions.............. RP

Try saying that to the riders who fell during the meeting..............I am sure they would love to know that they are prima donna's for putting their own safety and that of the other riders first...................... RP

The main question I think is why when it was realised that the track was not safe to ride on Friday did they not change the venue..................it was not raceable and it was basically an accident waiting to happen with so many ruts and holes in it............ I don't blame the riders at all for not wanting to continue............. I was reading one Polish article and it described it as an embarrassment to Polish Speedway...............I think its an embarrassment to the sport full stop............ RP

Got our tickets through the other day...........according to what they say gates open at 4 with a 5pm start time................. I always thought they opened at 3 as well........... RP

My question is if you are constantly knocking out high scores in the EL why is there the need to double up.............. And that is not just aimed at Lawson its any rider............... RP

According to Speedway Updates there was an issue on the third bend that caused both Holder and Schlein to come off.............. Holder is taking a week out because he has agrievated a shoulder injury..............and is not doing the pairs meeting in Torun at the weekend............ Some people really need to get a hold of the facts before criticising riders for under performing.............. RP

I saw the book in my local WH Smiths in Winton near Bournemouth today..................will have to look at getting that on pay day.............. RP

Apart from the fact I work funny hours so only can get to 2 out of every 3 home meetings even the cost of that is prohibitive to an extent............. I need to justify the £100 it would cost to take my family to every home meeting (4 adults and a 14 year old) and just cannot do it........... Bring the costs down and better promotion from a lot of the teams would be ideal............. RP

You say about prefabs............where I live in Bournemouth a lot of prefabs built after the war............the road I live in was mostly them.........then in the mid 1990's the council removed all the exterior cladding on them and brick built round them and put proper roofs on them not metal ones..........and completely modernised them.................we bought ours in 2002 and the internal walls are still the original ones..........from when they were first built.............. RP
