The only problem with Poole is the PA system.............its just as bad as it was 25 years ago............ RP

Not out of choice in some cases..............I would love to be able to go every week however I work late one week in 3 and cannot justify the cost of going to every single home or away meeting............I will be going this week as it is last one before play offs and I did go to King's Lynn for the SWC qualifier but I think due to work and costs I think this will only be the 6th meeting this season I have managed to get to...........will do the play offs unless on late shift........and swapping shifts is a nightmare.......... Yeah right............at least he gets things done........... Speedway needs a complete overhaul.................how are we supposed to compete at a competitive level not just at league level but internationally if the sport is living in the dark ages.............it needs someone to come in and inject a breath of fresh air into it........... As someone who has followed the sport for 38 years it depresses me to see the state it is in now...........very little in reality to encourage youngsters to take up the sport........promoters who sit on their backsides expecting the world to come to them when they should be out there (I know some do this) promoting the sport..........unbiased refereeing and reporting would help as well..........we need to get bums on seats...........we need to get the powers that be to listen to what we want.........maybe even start a national supporters association.......... We need to make changes............at EL level anyway bring in the squad system that works so well in Poland and Sweden.............completely rewrite the rule book if they have to but they need to do something before we have no tracks left............an independent body to run it may be.........or at least somehow get the BSPA to listen to us the fans and ask what we want to see........... I truly fear for the sports future in this country if it is allowed to continue as it is now........... RP

The idea of Sunday's meeting was for the previous years Elite League champions to compete against each other Poole line up is Josh G, Janowski, Piotr Pawlicki, Leon Madsen (Poole Asset) and Emil Sayfutdinov.......... Boycotting meetings is only another nail in the coffin of the sport we all love................ RP

Well I must be in the minority of Poole fans who were actually there and saw what happened...........Yes Darcy got it wrong when he did what he did in heat 18............Mark Lemon's explanation was spot on..........from where I was sat on the end of the home straight as the evening got darker you could see someone with a red flashing light presumably from a camera and it not only caught out Darcy but Wells and Covatti too............ Why was the person not removed I do not know but as for acting like a spoilt brat no..........my question is if it was someone on Team GB would you all be saying the same thing.............of course not its only because its Darcy that you are............ Well done to team GB on a good solid all round performance...........take it on to Saturday and lets do it all again........... RP

I would actually like to thank the staff at King's Lynn last night for sorting out what could have caused me all sorts of problems............... We pre booked seats in the grandstand as I am unable to stand for a long time and have to keep my leg stretched out..........we found our seats and there was no leg room at all.............so we spoke to one of the stewards there who advised us to go to the box office and see if they could be changed........... We did this and they were able to change the tickets for front row ones close to the pit gate where there was plenty of room to move if I needed to.............. Only bag check was a cursory glance in the top of my handbag and there were huge signs warning not to take anything in.........bar was reasonably priced anyway so it did not matter............. Great result for Team GB........... RP
