Janowski, Kurtz, Zmarzlik and both Pawlicki brothers (if they can stay away from injury) along with Vaclav Milik have great futures............can also see Fricke and Lambert in the mix............. Ward will never leave Poole on a permanent basis.....................he is likely to go out on loan to one of 4 EL clubs...............well one of 2 as he has already turned 2 down................the only reason I can think of for linking him with the Tigers is because one of his closest friends rides for them..........which is probably why he is unlikely to go to Swindon..............his average would be far too high anyway.............. I am very strong on Poole matters...............I have followed them since 1976 and my mother before me and my grandad was one of the original track staff when it first opened.................. So yes it all comes from the heart..............and some posters do talk drivel especially those who think they know everything but haven't a clue................if I am wrong about something I will admit it which is more than some of the usual suspects do................. Coventry haven't got a leg to stand on.............the fact the meeting continued and they withheld their riders services and got fined as a result even though their promoter said to continue to heat 10 to call a result does not bode well in anyones books................ Typical Edinburgh fan..............can't see beyond the end of their nose where their own riders are concerned............... There have been several other incidents including one at Birmingham a few years back which nearly ended a riders career (my apologies but the name of the rider escapes me)............... Until he grows up and stops throwing his toys out every time he does not get his own way (being named as reserve in the SWC at King's Lynn and refusing to attend the meeting because he was not in the team proper therefore Richie Worrall being named as reserve last year springs to mind) then he will never make the grade..................I have never rated him and in the few times I have seen him ride he has always been a let down............... I totally agree it was as if he did not really want to be interviewed and did it because if it was known he was there and did not do a TV interview in might be construed as ignorance...............you could see he felt uncomfortable about it and I also think the Tweedledee and Tweedledum were wrong to push him as much as they did................ It should have been left until Darcy was ready to face the media rather than be pushed into it................... RP

Personally I think it should have been pulled when Garrity decided to take out King and Newman................Garrity is a liability on a bike............and at times downright dangerous not just to others but to himself.................... Harris did want to ride the last heat you could tell by his body language and the gestures he made at the cameras after it was run............Havvy really needs to stop throwing his toys out of the pram..............its not going to do him or the team any good.............. Overall as others have said it may have been a victory for Poole but it certainly did not taste sweet............. RP Spot on.................

I think realistically one of the reasons that crowds stay away is costs................I can't afford to go every week like I used to..........I am still on the same money I was 5 years ago.............it would cost me to take the whole family in the region of £100 per meeting (4 adults and 1 15 year old including food and drink)...........the hours I work only allow me to go to 2 out of every 3 meetings anyway................ However my biggest bug bear with the sport is that promoters don't know how to promote...........a lot of them sit on their backsides expecting the world to come to them.............They need to get out there with publicity around the area........get into the schools and other places where they can encourage people to take an interest............one thing you can say about Poole is they have a promoter who is also a shrewd businessman who knows how to promote..............there are others that do notably the new Glasgow promotion but there are a lot that don't..............and promoters need to listen to the fans and I mean listen...........not just say something to appease them and then go back on their word............. RP

As it happens I don't think Darcy will be at Poole when he comes back............they have to make too many changes to accommodate him..............have heard he is Swindon bound but how true that is I have no idea................ RP

Did you see the article in the local press here last week that explained Holder's poor form............he will come good again...........like he said several injuries in a short space of time has finally caught up with him............ Calling him pathetic after all he has been through is wrong..........he needs support not being slated............ RP

Newman is a Poole asset so why would be not have been chosen by them.......................like Adam Ellis, Lewis Kerr he was a protected rider............. RP

I have said for years that a squad system should be introduced...................trouble is everyone has shouted me down about it and now here you all are singing its praises....................funny how some people change their tune about an idea as soon as something like this comes to light............ It would also do away with the need for guests and rider replacement................but of course that is wrong too I guess............. RP

Yeah remember the fake burst water main stunt Belle Vue pulled when Poole were due to ride there...............it was because that meeting was cancelled that the re run was a fiasco................don't think Poole can be blamed for either incident..................... RP
