He also praised Vinnie’s efforts despite not beating an opponent, the problem is he never learns from his mistakes -
Edinburgh v Workington Championship 15th August 7.30pm

7 points between 5 riders 3 of them scored by beating Loftus and Palm Toft 1 scored because of Palm Toft being excluded 3 of them scored by beating a team mate in 5-1 defeats. Remarkable to only get beat by 20 points, we’ve had much worse results this season but none feel as bad as this one. -

Credit to Jacob Hook and Batch, can’t believe it’s only 20 points we are down 😂 -

You’d think it was some of these lads first time on a speedway bike tonight. All started with Vinnie throwing away the 5-1 in heat 2 -

Plymouth vs Workington CL 02/08/25 Live on BSN
Marksman replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sounds like you have an itch to prove people wrong, I know what that is a trait of and it all matches up now, which is why people probably just ignore you. The reason I said what I did is because you can’t go on a single thread on this whole forum without you chirping up and doing the exact thing I mentioned. Or quite often it’s telling everyone what team changes the team manager should have made during a meeting. The mute button is good advice Captain Hindsight. -

Not a bad effort from 3 of the riders, didn’t expect Trigger or Morley to score any. But a poor night from our No.5 cost us the bonus point, which would have been a decent result with the team we had out. Plymouth had 6 riders scoring good points throughout the night which was the difference. Good racing tonight, the widened track seems to be doing the trick -

Bore off quoting everyone with stats, it’s getting massively boring. Do you even watch speedway or just follow results? -

Antti can be a real let down away from home at times, he was great in the latter stages last night. But was always going to be a waste of a r/r ride tonight. As Alfie Bowtell says you have to attack this track and he doesn’t on some tracks for whatever reason. -

Said on commentary all night that he wouldn’t be getting any tractors out. Then decided otherwise at the interval. Godfrey was quite funny on the commentary tbf, as he was in the BSN booth the other week -

Harrison wasn’t unbeaten? Antti and Batch got a 5-1 over him in heat 9 too, wouldn’t have made any difference tbh. -

Robbed the bonus point in the end! Well done Antti and Batch, both gave it a good go all night when behind -

Grahn in for Mulford is a big upgrade for Redcar -
Something about it being slick, gate and go, tyres wearing out, losing the coin toss. All the excuses were coming out. https://www.poole-speedway.com/news/view/20250712-reaction-disastrous-start-left-the-pirates-trailing-the-comets Anyone who was there or streamed it saw exciting racing, what caught Poole out was not knowing what lines to ride. Vinnie, Tate, Fraser, Antti all made great overtakes that night and some in multiple races. On a side note it was mentioned that 300 purchases were made for the live stream that night. Seems to be a success so far.

Noticed that we have been deducted 2 points for a breach of SCB rules, so back to zero points.
