  1. He had a very decent season last year, up until the crash that injured a photographer. That could affect any rider, wether the struggle with mental health or not. Some comments on the forum suggests he had a bad season, but really he just had a bad end to the season.
  2. I've no idea, I could easily list multiple riders, but I don't know if they want to race in the UK, nor am I 100% sure of the averages, since they changed the rules for assessed averages, which is why I said "if there are riders available"
  3. While Cook is a good signing on his rather low average, they had 7.44 available to replace Kerr & could've really strengthened up (if there are riders available).
  4. Nah, Buster only cancels meetings when there's a good forecast lol!
  5. Birmingham 42 - 48 Belle Vue Just can't see Birmingham winning this one.
  6. Interesting that every Plymouth guest so far has been a second strings. They'll be hoping Lambert rides like he did in the KOC final.
  7. Some matches they won't have a lot of options, but I still think guests or r/r will be decent cover for King.
  8. Smith is in a decent position with Glasgow & Scunthorpe needing a reserve guest. Can choose to race at whichever track suits him best?
  9. If Sheffield are not racing could use Pickering at home but Holder away then?
  10. There will.always be one team not racing, if you can't get a good guests r/r is always available. Ben Cook at Leicester? Josh Pickering at home to King's Lynn?
  11. Doyle, Ellis, Dan T, Rew & Jenkins can take r/r outings. I'd stick with guests & r/r till he's fit again. Guest options in May: B.Cook, Douglas, Masters, Becker, Lawson, C.Holder, Pickering, Brennan, Basso, Klindt, Tungate, Harris, Wright & of course Scotty Nicholls!
  12. If Milik & Pawlicki were the best two, can't imagine the other four will be up to much. If Birmingham replace Lampart, so Milik is reserve, then he's worth keeping imo.
  13. I was talking about the KOC match at home r/r at 2 or Pearson.
  14. If using r/r at home, move it to number 2 so reserves are out with Cook 3 times & Tate goes in heat 8. But think I'd go with James Pearson if available.
  15. Tate must be listed higher, that's how Vuolas was able to take a IRR outing for Tate. When Vuolas was injured only the reserves were lower than him & eligible to take extra rides.
  16. From memory riders with assessed averages can't guest, but I assume guests are allowed to replace them? If so options to replace Vuolas at Glasgow - Dan Thompson or Danyon Hume. Home to Redcar isn't so easy to find a good replacement maybe James Pearson or r/r. Then he should be fit for the Scunthorpe away match.
  17. I've read that in here, nowhere officially, but can't understand the thinking behind it. Why give riders a second chance when cheating?
  18. Seen a few "sign Zagar" suggestions. I'm not sure he'd be a great signing on a 7.20 average, as at Belle Vue he averaged 9.37 at home and 5.68 away. But even if he drops his average by virtue of not having the NSS as his home track, should still be better than Lampart. So this is actually a scenario where a team could happily sign a rider they expect to drop his average?
  19. For a GP / SWC I'd agree, could be the best meeting of the year. But a best pairs on a track not really suited for team riding, where the rider in second doesn't need to try to pass they guy winning, might not be as great a spectacle.
  20. For that reason I don't know why they only use one track. I would think they'd get more fans if it was held at different tracks as you'd get 2 or more sets of "home" fans attending, rather than some just attending the final?
  21. 1) there are far better ways to achieve that 2) this won't be the case in the Cardiff & Warsaw GPs. I find it odd they created a system for the reason you said, then qualifying can stop the GP winner being top scorer.
  22. For sure, no rider can complain about their gates, Jack Holder had 2 grid fours in the heats & top scored.
