  1. The speedway club didn't need all 164 acres to continue. No reason (apart from greed) the owners couldn't have built houses, while keeping the speedway.
  2. Harris, Kerr, Cook, Kemp & Wright ride against Oxford in the Champ, while Masters & Jenkins ride against Oxford in the Prem, they should be used to it. If they can ride against their own team, so can Nicholls.
  3. I'm certain there is, but a club can still ask a rider. Circumstances may have changed since the start of the season.
  4. In place of Liebmann yes, Zischke certainly not.
  5. I wasn't meaning you were blaming Kemp, just a general comment for all, don't blame Kemp - he's not the reason for Oxford being weak, the manager is. I've never known a team to keep making themselves weaker. I guess Leicester did it last year, but that was more of a panic move after the Morris (or was it Worrall) suspension, Oxford don't have the luxury of that same excuse.
  6. That's quite realistic, if Flint has scored 0 from 3 then Ermolenko would give him his 4th ride lol!
  7. Nicholls guesting on his home track should score well
  8. I'm not sure Lynn would get another 28 day facility for a rider "withholding his services" I most cases clubs get a 28 day facility then have to sign a replacement (or use a 75% guest).
  9. I don't think Lynn can release him until they've signed a replacement. Don't see how Musielak could sign for another club until Lynn find a new rider.
  10. Can't blame Kemp at all, he's a reserve being asked to ride a second string. Whoever made the decision for Oxford needs their head examining
  11. You could be right, but I hope most fans would realise Speedway is a dangerous sport & accidents do happen. Not signing Rew, won't help Tate heal any quicker.
  12. Maybe unlikely for a Saturday track, but there's a few foreign Premiership riders whose converted averages would fit, Pawlicki, Milik & Rew?
  13. Now his injuries are known, I feel I can wonder what Comets will do. r/r not ideal with a reserve having to take an extra ride, luckily for Workington Tate's average had gone up to help with guests / a replacement. Really sad news for Zischke, who was having one of the best debut British seasons for a long while. Get well soon Tate.
  14. 1) that's not a rule 2) I'm sure Workington are more concerned with Tate's health before worrying about a replacement. Yes they may eventually have to plan ahead, but not now. While you have clearly stated you hope he's not badly hurt, can't help but think the post isn't in good taste. Until his injuries are known, I wouldn't speculate on if they'll need to replace him.
  15. Similar thing happened to Pickering. Sheffield dropped him & he went to Lynn, but when Lynn (temporarily) dropped him due to injury he was happy to go back to Sheffield.
  16. As disappointing as Becker has been, he's still averaging more than Mountain. It would also push Cook up into the top 5. Would weaken Leicester imo.
  17. Every time Ipswich look understrength they seem to pull out a great performance, so should make tonight interesting.
  18. Sensible riding order by Lynn (Worrall at 2) Ermolenko may want to take not if that. For Leicester I would've moved Lawson away from 2, leaves then with a weak 3/4 pairing, Lawson would help avoid that.
  19. I certainly don't understand why the promoters teat the koc / bsn the way they do. They should be going all out to convince fans to part with their money the same as they do for league meetings!
  20. Oxford's riding order confuses me. They've put Kemp at 2, obviously realising he'd struggle at 3, but why not give Kerr a go there before dropping him? I also would have out Janowski at 5 & told him to prove he's still a world class rider. Harris would be much more effective at 3 or 4 imo.
  21. Two weak looking teams, but Oxford should win. If they had enough notice, I'd put Chris Holder at 5, Howarth & Pickering at 3&4 with Kerr at 2.
