  1. Yes, if Nicholls signs his average will change, guest appearances don't effect average.
  2. Gotta echo all these comments about Richie Worrall, if he has to leave early to race tomorrow, what was the original plan for today? Why would Panthers keep that a secret from their fans? Similar to Wolves not announcing Harris instead of Nicholls, what do they gain by not being honest in their pre-match previews?
  3. Don't know what could possibly be "suspect" about this match being off, 2 full strength teams (I count using Nicholls as being at full strength) plus loads of publicity over the stadium, could have led to a massive crowd. I'm sure the last thing Wolves would want is a postponement!
  4. I didn't know that, but my point remains (before the postponement) Peterborough were getting slagged off for using r/r fans / trolls saying the promotion have "given up" & they won't go anymore, while I didn't read a single complaint on the Sheffield thread for using r/r!
  5. The cut-off date for May has passed, Pickering will still be at reserve. Nicholls or Cook could be possible temporary signings.
  6. If Nicholls signs as a temp replacement, they don't use Pickering's average any more, so Nicholls would be at reserve - best reserve in the league imo
  7. Sheffield are also using r/r but they're not getting slagged off for it?
  8. Given he last rode for Ipswich on Thursday & has had 3 days to get ready for Torun, that would be a rediculous excuse for a dissapointing performance!
  9. Given the last guest Peterborough used was awful, maybe they're giving their own riders a go?
  10. I think Panthers will do a lot better than most expect, I'll go for: Belle Vue 48 - 42 Peterborough
  11. The question shouldn't be "can Simon score what Josh could" but "who is available that could score more than Simon"
  12. While there's plenty of guest options for Worrall, perhaps Plymouth want to give their own riders some track time?
  13. As Berwick fans should be, I personally would love Glasgow to lose, but can't see it at all!
  14. Peterborough aren't fielding an under strength side, they are built to the points limit & using r/r for a missing rider, no one could possibly prove that King would outscore r/r! Assuming Sayfutdinov isn't available, this is the strongest team available to them (until they sign a new number one).
  15. Any reason Panthers aren't using Sayfutdinov as a guest?
  16. I'm pretty sure that won't happen, all Berwick can do is score as many points as possible at Glasgow & hope other results go their way imo
  17. Craig Cook via Twitter "Personally I felt good bike was working well then to finish with 2 mechanical failures was a bit of a rubbishter but that's speedway." Alex Harkess via the EEN "Craig Cook has been ill all week - he started well but his energy ran out and he couldn't hold onto the bike any longer."
  18. A very simple alternative is you can't guest against a team in your own group, there would still be up to 6 clubs to choose guests from (depending on fixtures).
  19. While you never want to see a rider injured & I hope it's nothing serious, at least Edinburgh have good options for guests. I'd recommend Schlein at Oxford & R.Worrall at home (if needed).
  20. My thoughts exactly, never want to see a rider injured, but it probably strengthens Poole!
  21. There's so few matches in the Championship this year, it should be easy to arrange fixtures to avoid the football if they needed to?
  22. This group is an example of what could happen in the play-offs, one team (Poole) have already qualified but another (Plymouth) still have a home match to race. Could be tough to sell that to the public - racing a play-off match once you've been knocked out!
  23. I'd assume when the Bullets have matches the selling point would be you're seeing future Bandits, but to not even give them guest bookings removes that theory! Not saying it was Berwick's fault but 2 of their most promising riders last year Pijper & Harrison went elsewhere. Obviously I'll still give credit to Berwick for entering a NL team.
