How is Dan's average "inflated" because he spent half the season at reserve, but Joe's average isn't when he spent the whole season at reserve? Besides Dan's good scores came from the harder number 6 position, so the jump to second string shouldn't slow him down much! I'm not sure why his scoring tailed off so much? -
If that's true Poole should offer him less money, he can't go back to Plymouth!
-
Because Morris is better now.

I don't think it's possible for any rider on a 2.00 Ave to be "any good" otherwise they wouldn't be a 2.00 rider! It's very possible to have a 2.00 rider who is very promising & likely to become "good" such as Mulford who averaged over 8 in his first full NL season

That's the Extraliga rules not letting them ride in multiple countries not Wroclaw's

Jason Edwards, Nathan Ablitt, Jake Mulford

My thoughts entirely, seems very negative to believe a team with no riders signed yet, won't beat a team with no riders signed yet!

James Sarjeant (4.16) would be my pick to complete that team! -
As Ellis had a good year for Sheffield, it will be difficult for him to up his average! That's the only reason not to bring him back, which is a fault of speedway - doing well so losing your team spot!

Looks like title contenders

Given Allen has a higher Champ ave than Palm-Toft, I'd be hoping he could bring that form into the Prem if signed?

While that makes sense, for Kennett the reverse could have happened, he was lucky to find a team spot I feel! Also what if the Craig Cook / track staff incident has happened this year? Could Cook ask to get the fine he paid back as the match "didn't happen"? -

I get your point, but the points scored counted towards the averages till the season ended! So how can the matches count for averages then but not now? I know it's simpler to remove the matches after the season ends, but technically if they don't count should have been removed immediately! -

Yes you can, it's very easy! Remove Eastbourne from the league table, but don't remove the scores. Done! -
Fantastic response

Actually Sedgmen's average never changed much at all, so didn't really get worse. But he certainly didn't UP his average in the way Glasgow would've hoped / expected him to do once dropping to reserve! -
But because of the play-offs that result become irrelevant, they still made the final, so scoring extra points in the league campaign doesn't matter (unless finishing 1st)

I'm glad for Kinsley getting a team spot, as I am for all Brits, but do feel this is the most underwhelming opening signing I can remember ever! After his scores last year, can't imagine the signing would be well appreciated! Would've been better to make him the 7th signing, if there was 3.00 left & Kinsley signed, wouldn't felt a more shrewed move! -

Just to cause an argument, why is Broc's ave only 5.5 then? -

It depends who your reserves are & who your opposition have at reserve to determine whether it's better to have your strongest reserve at 6 or 7! For example Newcastle were better off putting Freeman at 6 because he couldn't beat anybody & it gave Roynon easier rides to get more points. But with Glasgow Sedgmen or Nowak should've been strong enough to beat opposition second strings, so makes sense to put them at 6 & have Bailey at 7 to beat opposition reserves! -

Those aren't the final averages, ignoring the Eastbourne situation, after the "October" averages are published the "Final" averages should be published! -

I agree there is no reason to remove the Eastbourne matches from the rolling averages! Those matches were raced under the same rules as every other league match, apart from being unfair on Kennett upping his ave, it's also a lot simpler to just leave them in! -

I totally agree, not allowing another Friday track due to a possible lack of guests is rediculous! Imagine saying to a club "you can't ride on Fridays because I may need to use your riders for my team" -
