  1. Gotta say teams looks to have a long tail & I can see them struggling!
  2. Has Charlie Brooks ridden any Speedway before this season? Or just got grasstrack experience?
  3. It would have been better if Cradley used riders not in other teams, but it would be hard to sign a rider for 6 matches rather than a full season! Unless it was someone like Connor Mountain, who maybe decides he is happy to move up the Speedway ladder but happy to do half a dozen matches to give him a fuller schedule! For Mildenhall's point of view more track time for Jenkins & Kemp should help them improve. Might mean Mildenhall losing to Cradley in the trophy Final though, as they'd get good guests for the aforementioned duo!
  4. Unless Iversen is assesed at 8.00 as a GP rider who didn't ride in Britain last year?
  5. So do IOW fans believe in Morley they'll have the leagues strongest rider in 2018?
  6. I was thinking of Bowtell & Lee Dicken too!
  7. Since Klindt, Morley & Wajknecht had to use a conversion of their Premiership average rather than an old Premier League (Championship) ave, the same rule must apply to Grondal surely?
  8. If the Panthers decide to go down the strength in depth route! PETERBOROUGH ? 1 Ulrich Ostergaard 7.12 2 Michael P Toft 6.77 3 Piotr Swiderski 6.76 4 Tomas H Jonasson 6.03 5 Nike Lunna 5.90 6 Emil Grondal 5.04 7 Simon Lambert 4.56 Total 42.18
  9. So this team fits NEWCASTLE 1 Ludvig Lindgren 7.21 2 Stuart Robson 7.02 3 Dimitri Berge 6.91 4 Lewis Rose 6.49 5 Tero Aarnio 5.02 6 Carl Wilkinson 4.97 7 Ashley Morris 4.88 Total 42.50
  10. However as riders with higher aves can double up, it's the equivalent of someone, who maybe older & richer getting a pension before you!
  11. Gotta say it's a very different team at Scunny this year with a strong number 1!
  12. I reclon with a few of the top riders missing from Div 2 this year, Bach isn;t a bad number 1. Could put a point on his ave imo
  13. When is the last time Belle Vue had a Brit as they're number one? Would it be the year Harris signed for them (2011)?
  14. How do Rebels fans think Jake Allen will do this year? He seemed to do very well at Scunthorpe especially at the end of the year! Will he find it tougher out of the reserve berth this year?
  15. I would go for Ellis Perks at no 7!
  16. Swindon must have the strongest top 4 in the league i reckon!
  17. REDCAR ? 1 Ben Barker 8.15 2 Kevin Wolbert 8.00 3 Stuart Robson 7.02 4 Jonas B Andersen 6.48 5 Ellis Perks 5.08 6 Robert Branford 3.94 7 Tom Perry 3.61 Total 42.28
  18. RYE HOUSE ? 1 Chris Harris 7.63 2 Scott Nicholls 7.48 3 Krzysztof Kasprzak 6.86 4 Edward Kennett 6.39 5 Stuart Robson 5.72 6 Paul Starke 5.08 7 Ellis Perks 3.33 Total 42.49
  19. I think 1.3 is a fairer multiplier between the leagues! Is that happening though? That's far too sensible for Speedway! I've always thought that is how they should work out the conversions for Premier / Elite or now Championship / Premiership! I also remember Loram was the weakest grade 1 & Pedersen was the strongest grade 2, even though they were the same standard!
  20. KING'S LYNN ? 1 Neils K Iversen 9.04 2 Robert Lambert 7.38 3 Michael J Jensen 6.52 4 Thomas Jorgensen 5.93 5 Lewis Rose 5.25 6 Tomas H Jonasson 4.64 7 Stefan Nielsen 3.67 Total 42.43!
  21. I reckon Nick Morris will be one of the top riders in the league in 2018, don't see him having any difficulty at number 1! Just a shame Swindon had to drop a World Champion to keep him in the team!
  22. If the rules haven't changed Graversen should start on a 4.00 ave! How about Robert Mear (3.65)?
  23. Would any Poole fans like to see Bjarne Pedersen (6.91) back for the Pirates in 2018?
  24. Is Dennis Gizatullin still riding? I make his last British average 4.17!
  25. Doubt Steve Worrall will drop to number 6! What about Alex Davies on 5.41 starting at reserve!
