  1. Has Martin Knuckey retired? He would fit (6.07)!
  2. Gotta say, I think the signing of Perry strengthens the Colts at the top of the team!
  3. What are the chances of: Rohan Tungate? Patrick Hougaard? Justin Sedgmen? Kai Huckenbeck? Tomas H Jonasson?
  4. Although Nicholls starts the season on the highest SCBC ave, he could be the top rider in the league by then end of it! I feel for Panthers to challenge, they'll need him to be!
  5. I expect Vissing to be a second string in this team & I reckon he'll be strong in that position!
  6. If Ashley Morris is a heat leader behind Robson & Lindgren then Newcastle are doomed!
  7. 1. RYE HOUSE 2. POOLE 3. BELLE VUE 4. SWINDON 5. WOLVERHAMPTON 6. LEICESTER 7. SOMERSET 8. KINGS LYNN
  8. It seems a while since Belle Vue had a Pole in the team! Artur Mroczka was the last one I believe? He was so promising at Poole expected him to do better for the Aces! Hopefully Drozdz will do the job Belle Vue are looking for - if he can stay in the team Bewley could be a great reserve!
  9. That situation happens a lot, there are plenty of riders who have a higher Championship but a lower Premiership average than a fellow rider: Lawson & Holder, Wright & Barker, King & Schlein!
  10. Lawson has a higher Premiership average but Holder has a higher Championship average! Either could be stronger lol!
  11. What riding order would you go for to start with? Mine would be: 1 Jason Doyle 9.69 2 Jake Allen 5.07 3 Charles Wright 6.69 4 Richard Lawson 6.43 5 Jack Holder 5.82 6 Bradley W Dean 4.67 7 Jonas Jeppensen 4.00
  12. Kennett & Perks to complete the team would be my choice!
  13. I think Wolves have a solid top 5, should be good enough to win at home, but do feel race winners will be hard to come by away! Added: unfortunately I see Nathan Greaves struggling, until he gets a SBGC place that is!
  14. NEWCASTLE ? 1 Kevin Wolbert 8.00 2 Ludvig Lindgren 7.21 3 Stuart Robson 7.02 4 Steve Boxall 5.15 5 Tero Aarnio 5.02 6 Carl Wilkinson 4.97 7 Ashley Morris 4.88 Total 42.25!
  15. Is Anton Rosen still riding? Could he come back to the Diamonds?
  16. Being on holiday for a week, with time to spare and naught to do, I've added up the precitions so far (Speedway Star style, 1st = 11 points / 11th = 1 point) 1) IPSWICH 81 2) GLASGOW 80 3) SHEFFIELD 72 4) LAKESIDE 62 5) SCUNTHORPE 61 6) EDINBURGH 45 7) REDCAR 39 8) WORKINGTON 35 9) PETERBOROUGH 26 10) NEWCASTLE 15 11) BERWICK 12
  17. I think Williamson is a great signing, so should have 2 good reserves all year at least!
  18. I reckon Danny Phillips has to be the best choice as number 7 for the Scorpions!
  19. Are any Monarchs fans concerned about Mark Riss starting off in a heat leader position?
  20. Don't get me wrong I like Davey, just think JPB is better! However Hume is bound to put at least a point (if not more) on his starting ave, so regardless Birmingham have a fab top 3!
  21. I did think Stoke looked a pretty weak team before, now with a "true" number one, they look a bit of a different proposition!
  22. Gotta admit i'm not sure why Birmingham went with Davey instead of JPB! They are both of a similar standard now, but expect JPB to improve greatly over the season compared to Davey!
  23. I would disagree, I don't believe the lower average riders will improve more in a weaker league, they're average may improve but only because they are racing weaker opponents! So the following year they may not get a place at all! Surely racing better riders makes it easier to move up into the Championship? JPB was almost unbeatable in the early part of last year in the NL but dropped out of the Championship, having easier rides in NL didn't help him it seems?
  24. Gotta say, even without Jake Knight I reckon Eastbourne have a great number 1 in Mark Baseby!
