Belle Vue v Peterborough Panthers - Grand Final

I don't know how any club could legally stop riders racing on the IOW!
-
"Rule 013.6 NDL Facilities (Supplementary Regulations v2 2021) ii. A missing rider, 2 to 5 by MA, either RR or an unattached rider." The rules don't allow a guest for Joe Thompson it seems! Could use the guest for Dan & r/r for Joe though!
-
I see Adam Ellis scored 13 pts in France today! That's a quick recovery from illness!
-
Kind of a bizarre situation that the Colts had 2 x 3.00 reserves, both of whom doubled their averages, but they could still end up with the wooden spoon!
-
I'd be happy with that!
-
While that would be an ideal situation, how would they pay for the extra ambulance? Paying riders less or charging fans more?
-
Exactly that tells us nothing!
-
I think it's safe to say Freeman is well below 5.19 lol!
-
So little has been announced about this (on official sites) I can't comment on wether he has been hard done by or been vilified against!
-
Could Leicester "rest" Hans Andersen & put out Tom Spencer to save money? They'd still qualify!
-
How has Pijper let you down? He's only missing because he's been banned!
-
I have thought that recently! Just have the top 16 riders & no wildcards! If a country doesn't think it can draw a crowd to see Zmarzlik, Laguta, Woffinden & Sayfutdinov fighting for the world title - don't host a round!
-
The challenge means a lot less now, it's either top 3 (or 4 if a GP riders qualifies) or bust! So 5th is no better than 16th in this meeting! I don't know why they have to "declare" GP reserves, just go in order of the GP challenge non-qualifiers! Would make the GP challenge more interesting, riders aiming to finish as high as possible even if the top 3/4 is out of reach!

SoN 2021 who are your picks for team GB?

While Bewley has been on form at the NSS this year, you could also argue it's not been against world class riders! -
Smolinski didn't actually qualify for the GPs, he was due to replace Hancock when he retired, but got injured & missed out!
-
I don't mind the world U-21 champ getting a place in the GP challenge, but definitely not direct to the GP series!
-
Then they deserve to be there! If you want new young exciting riders in the GP, they need to beat the older riders in the qualifiers!

It is very stupid, if GB pick Woffinden & Lambert, it would mean dropping a 21/22 year old for a junior! U-21 rule to bring riders on for the future, but Bewley is the future! -

Woffinden, Bewley & Brennan for me! Lambert has touched the tapes a few times & given you could score 12 consecutive 7-2's but lose in the final, I think it's a bit of a risk to trust Lambert to keep still at the start!
