Congratulations!

Can’t argue with that at all.

Just looked at other clubs prices and Wolves have by far the best value. £265 for a ticket book of 15 meetings, making each meeting £17.67p a meeting. It does say though it covers all League and Cup meetings, no mention of any individuals or fillers. So if they don’t make the play offs and get knocked out of the cup at the first hurdle, that’s only 13 meetings so what happens to the remaining two tickets?
-
Or £19.23p a meeting if the ticket is used for every meeting. I paid £205 for the ticket last year but I think that was 12 meetings so a meeting less. Even so that’s still a hefty increase. Still transferable though which is a good thing. I missed a fair few towards the end of last season through ill health but gave my ticket to a good friend who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford to go so I was still happy I brought one and felt I got good value. Still looks decent value from the point that the on the gate admission has gone up to 22 quid, but overall you have to weigh up whether the overall increase is worth it to you. Was expecting a quid increase as everyone else has put theirs up too, but a couple of quid increase is risky from them. Can understand those that will now knock it on the head or pick and choose a meeting here and there instead of going regularly. Im personally going to wait for the remaining team to be revealed. Needs a plum signing I think for me to get another season ticket.

Is it this Speedy? Was posted today but it just refers to Barker being back in Speedway with Plymouth, not Ipswich. Not yet anyway!
-
Well if they do that I’d have NEARLY brought a season ticket but now won’t bother
-
Not sure they’ve got anything to gain from doing that. Quite the opposite in fact! Getting people’s hopes up with a huge name and then doing a Jim Bowen with “look at what you could have seen” and then revealing Riss and Worrall (with all due respect to them) is not gonna get people rushing to buy a season ticket.

Go to bed.
-
If it is then it better bloody well be Emil with him I tells ya!
-
Agree.
-
Emil is still on an 8.00 from his last stint at Coventry, so we’ll surely know if he can be fitted in when we announce the next signing. More signings announced this week apparently which makes me think we’ve gone down the two 6 pointer route. Emil would surely have taken more time to ratify.. If we announce either Riss or Worrall next then it probably knocks this rumour on the head. Riss and Emil leaves 4.27, Worrall and Emil 4.12.
-
I agree. Just can’t see it personally.
-
I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
-
Zagar’s away average was poor. Not for me.
-
3.99. 4.09 minus the British reduction.
-
-
Nowhere official that’s for sure.
-
If that does end up being the team then a lot will depend on Rew. If he struggles then so will we. Batch/Riss/Worrall/King are all solid middle order riders, but none of them are a second heat leader at 5.
-
It is indeed just over half a point under. Take out Batch and that leaves 6.12. Brother Steve hasn’t been announced yet at Wolves, but after British reduction he’s 6.13 so doesn’t fit. Other than Batch on 5 and a half, there’s nobody else out there to fit that 6.12 unless you go for an Andersen or Cook and be even further under..
-
By the process of elimination Ritchie Worrall has to be a strong candidate. He’s not at Lynn by all accounts, Leicester/Wolves can’t fit him in, Sheffield can but Ellis has to be nailed on for their last spot, and he’s very unlikely to be at Belle Vue who are releasing their team this week. I can’t see him not having a Premiership ride so it’s either us or Peterborough.
-
I’d rather gamble on Cook than Andersen for the same average.
-
Rew simply has to start at reserve.
-
Doyle 10.32 King 6.41 Riss 6.00 Rew 4.00 Riss isn’t anywhere yet so you’d have to think he’s back with us, and they surely wouldn’t chuck Rew straight in the main body that would be unfair on the lad, so that leaves 12.27 for two members of the 1-5, including a back up heatleader. Tall order..
-
We tried for one of the Pawlicki’s last year but apparently the cost involved was way above what we could pay so we went with Barker instead. Unless Guy Nicholls is digging deep that would surely be the same issue? Doyle surely uses most of the budget. Not sure where we go from here to be honest, let’s hope Louis has a plan!

Peterborough Panthers 2023

They also have the protection of a club asset if that rider is in the list. For example, Ipswich have the option of using Drew Kemp if they so wish regardless of any “draft”.
