Agree. Neither are bad signings on those averages, far from it.

Holder won’t get anywhere near Doyle’s average here. We had all this this time last year when more than one person tipped younger Holder, Kurtz and Max Fricke to all eclipse Doyle this year, and none of them got remotely close. -
I’d take Kemp back over Rowe for the RS personally if Hume is no longer on it.

Tungate is mustard around Peterborough -
Poole won’t receive a single penny. A courtesy call is all you’ll receive.

Not sure two of those will be there.

So 39 for 6 it remains. Decision time, sign Doyle on 10 and a half or not? As good as he is, I’m not sure personally. Certainly not an easy decision either way.. Someone like Masters at 1 would have been the move. I get he’s settled at Wolves and it would have been unlikely, but he’s a Foxhall track expert and would have done a cracking job at 1 and would have given us a couple of points in the bank for the other 5.

Well without knowing who is in the team(s), that’s Belle Vue top of the table. The “aggregate bonus point Kings”
-
Wouldn’t have been against letting King go elsewhere and go down a different route to freshen things up. Might have been good for him as well as the club, only have to look at the new lease of life Kerr seemed to get from leaving Lynn. On the other hand, not disappointed if he stays either. Makes more sense to keep him next year on his current average than it did this year. After a fantastic 2021, that was the time to be ruthless and let him go on an average that always looked too expensive.

Tuesday next week.

Possibly too many newcomers at once so impossible to be confident, but I think it’d go very very close personally.
-
Don’t think it’s a lack of ambition. Louis is just as much a fan as any of us and badly wants to win. He does make mistakes though and allows his heart to rule his head when it comes to riders he’s close to. We’ve got good backers but not an unlimited pot of cash. Doyle surely must be the most expensive rider in the league currently, that swallows the majority of the budget I’d have thought. It’s then a case of spreading what’s left as wisely as possible. Still yet to win the pot on his watch though and that’s something Louis has to take on the chin. Up to now his leadership has been a failure, can’t be argued.

Zero chance of that team being remotely close.

If there were possible delays and the “i’s and t’s” weren’t crossed then don’t tell people news would be released on a certain date. I’d imagine Panthers fans were looking forward to today and are now disappointed and frustrated. If nothing is finalised, don’t say anything until it is! -
Wasn’t it the awards last night? Anyone here go?

Well that goes without saying on the injury front we all know you can pick the best side by a mile on paper and then have your season ruined in the first week of the season. My point stands, if you’re going with a rider at 1 who has an average as high as Doyle’s, you’re gonna have to pull a rabbit or two out the hat to be successful. We couldn’t even manage that this year with Doyle starting on a lower figure than the one he has now. Will be even harder next season as he’s not going to increase that figure this time around like he did this. Normally you see one or two who you think “crikey that’s low for him” but I don’t see many around other than the Danish lad at Lynn. May have to try and be “lucky” with a couple of newcomers and roll the dice.

Can’t argue with a single word spoken there. Now need to be very clever with the other six..
-
Isn’t it those that were/are on the rising star list rather than those that were actually used as rising Star? Kemp was on it but not used as the rising star, similar with Danyon Hume. Hume was on the rising star list but Ipswich opted for Rowe as rising star and Hume as the number 8. Although it’s another grey area as Hume took over Rowe’s position as the rising star in the team, whereas Kemp didn’t ride in the position.

Aye.

Louis sounded pretty pi$sed off on Radio Suffolk today that fixtures couldn’t get done and that it’s “being investigated” right now and won’t happen again next year. Also on next season’s team, Doyle is number 1 priority unsurprisingly and he’s doing everything possible to get him back. Only other name he singled out for special praise was Danyon Hume and how pleased he’s been with his progress this year. You can pencil both those in..

Poor that. -
I hope so. They should be allowed to earn a living regardless of their nationality IMO.

Think he’s somewhere between 6-7 personally. Was mid to high 6’s for Lynn in his first couple of seasons so there’s a potential small increase there. I like him.
