  1. I wouldn’t worry about this year where Musielak is concerned if I were you.
  2. You could argue he is here, which is all that matters for Birmingham. Musielak’s last full season here in 2023 for Sheffield, average 9.35 with bonus across all meetings, Lindgren this year for Birmingham, 8.85.
  3. He was never part of Ipswich’ plans for 25.
  4. Bewley is staying at Belle Vue. Oxford still have a golden chance to be very competitive due to Janowski’s cheap looking average. Because of his early struggles, he’s now on a very attractive average judging by his end of season form. Have to make it count though which they haven’t done previously so can understand the concerns.
  5. Ah, so you’re talking about imaginary excuses for an imaginary absence that hasn’t yet happened? Ok..
  6. Excuse? For what? Don’t really know what you’re talking about to be honest.
  7. You’ve got to be on a wind up here surely? Literally everything you’ve just said is laughable. You haven’t got a clue.
  8. Won’t bother him in the slightest. He had his reasons.
  9. I think it’s both personally. Individuals are a bit different to team sports. Liverpool was always unpopular with just about everybody other than Liverpool supporters back in the day because they were so dominant. The same for Manchester United in the 90’s. Fans of other clubs will be jealous and want to see them knocked off their perch. The best victories in matches will nearly always be against those clubs at the time. Nothing wrong with that it’s human nature I suppose. Does happen with individuals as well though. Steve Davis was universally unpopular in the 80’s, but when Hendry came along and his success dried up, he suddenly became far more popular and supported and Hendry then became unpopular!
  10. All one and the same really isn’t it? It’s all one entity surely.
  11. Part of the dislike for Poole is that they’re very successful. Happens in any sport when a team is so successful and dominant, they become disliked by fans of other clubs. That can hardly be labelled at Ipswich! The club haven’t won a league title for many many years. It’s all a bit strange to be honest but hey ho.
  12. Ipswich don’t have to “claim” anything. The points limit WAS in place prior to the AGM, confirmed by Phil Morris in the press release. Yet another hit piece on Ipswich that has no foundation whatsoever. Not surprising who has jumped all over your post with his backing either.
  13. It’ll be his converted Berwick average apparently, whatever that is.
  14. Was gonna say the same. There’s a fag paper between all three so it doesn’t really matter which one is at reserve. I’d be very surprised to see Kvech at reserve at any point though. Out of the whole team he’s the one that has the potential to get to 1 and stay there.
  15. I’d expect Kvech and Lawson to be at 1 and 5 after the first change of averages. Those two in heats 13 and 15 isn’t too shabby at all.
  16. Doesn’t threaten a play off place all things being equal but they’re not afraid of making changes up there. Think they’ll be tinkering pretty quickly.
  17. The standard was nothing like we’re seeing now either. That season was a bit of an anomaly.
  18. Not sure you see the real benefit of a strong reserve when you build strength in depth with all riders (bar the rs) of a similar standard. If Harris ends up having seven rides, then he’s replacing someone in the 1-5 of a similar standard who isn’t doing the job they’ve been brought in to do to make a strength in depth team work. It’s going to be interesting though to see them up against the others who have been built top heavy to see which strategy pays off. If Kvech does jump to 1 and does a number 1’s job there which he looks talented enough to do, then who knows!
  19. Going by last two years he definitely does. Scored 7+1 one visit with Ipswich this season, his previous three visits have all been paid double figure scores and two of those were in his dreadful 2023 season with Sheffield. For a 5.5 middle order rider, that’s a good record.
