  1. I wonder if it is available on catch up after the end of this transmission. I've literally just shelled out £9 to watch one race, thought it started at 7pm, ah well never mind. Has it been a decent meeting, good racing?
  2. Great frontman, Ballroom Blitz was my favourite.
  3. I agree but the point Ian made was that they don't even show you it during a race if they can avoid it, even a rider sliding off innocuously they immediately cut away. It's frustrating when the commentator is talking about it but you can't see it, I suppose it's just another example of the nanny state we live in these days. Like everyone else I don't want to see any rider injured but crashes and falls are part & parcel of the sport we love, yet they are removed from our view. edit; there's not many more violent sports than boxing, soon they'll be cutting away when someone gets decked.
  4. Can sort of understand it from TNT, they don't seem to have anyone in their production crew who know much about speedway, so maybe someone has said not to show crashes on replay while riders are down and they've taken it literally that the aftermath of crashes and falls aren't to be shown at all, TNT are useless for speedway. BSN you would have thought know better but, as you say, they cut away every time. Must admit I've had good value out of the subscription to BSN, didn't do it last season as I thought it was too expensive for the full pass but it's not too bad considering it often keeps me in on a Friday night instead of tipping even more money over pub bars. Been some decent meetings in the Championship, glad I took the plunge.
  5. Yes it was, they showed it on BSN, brilliant race, four abreast going into the 2nd lap, plenty of trust being shown by all riders.
  6. That was some last heat from the Redcar/Berwick match, excellent race.
  7. Paco found that grip off bend 2 that Greg mentioned, did the job as advertised.
  8. Well done both teams, some brilliant racing with almost everyone chipping in with a decent ride. Loved seeing the passing being done inside and out, could watch Dan Bewley in full flow round there all day long, poetry in motion.
  9. Well my bets failed miserably but what a great evening of speedway, whichever way it goes it's been decent. I think Hawkins may have slipped up sticking with Doyle, then again, it's impossible to call.
  10. Zach Cook, wow, nobody tell me there's only one line by the fence again.
  11. No need to worry, Kelvin has decided Emil can come back into the GP series.
  12. Same here, I'm on the airport side, still forecast to stop anytime though, here's hoping.
  13. Fair enough, I don't know of any riders complaining about it either, it does have an adverse effect on viewing though imo.
  14. Can't believe they get away with such poor floodlighting, thought the same when I went to the play off final last season, so it's not just because it's on screen. Well done Leicester, much the better side tonight after such a close first leg.
  15. Great attention to detail, many would have omitted the dirt deflector but, considering the subject matter, it's a necessity, well done.
  16. Agreed, it was top notch, I wouldn't have minded paying, was it £3 for the last round, but when I opened the site the meeting came on, expected it to kick me out anytime but no. Now, thanks to your suggestion, I can go and enjoy the Plymouth meeting, hope it measures up after the last couple of hours.

  18. There's a thought, can watch BSN on catch up, never even considered that, nice one.
  19. Is anybody watching both this and the SEC meeting? I'm tempted but it might fry my brain.
  20. Jason Edwards take a bow, brilliant pass while under pressure from Lawson, class ride.
  21. Really enjoying the BSN coverage this season, it's a fair lump to shell out in March but it's been worth it for sure. Maybe it's just me but I wish they would put the riders names on screen when they do the 'head to head' feature pre meeting. I don't know what a good few riders look like like, so it's difficult to identify them, small issue admittedly but worth mentioning. Here's hoping for a cracking meeting, Redcar win of course.
