  1. As it says, bike A or bike B, just a bit extra info for the anoraks.
  2. I heard he's taken his new Polish girlfriend up the Shard.
  3. They're loyal to British speedway because they aren't quite good enough to make it big abroad.
  4. Who cares? Admittedly the rules are a joke but all I want to see is decent racing, Lambert brings plenty of entertainment and is great to watch when he's on it, Woffinden similar, I'm happy to see our top stars riding on British tracks.
  5. Fair play and well done Ipswich, what a cracking evening of racing, topped off by ht15, couldn't decide where to look, so much action in those first 2 laps, deserved victory to whoever got the aggregate win, not to be for the Aces this season. Roll on 2024.
  6. Bad enough but assuming the concussion runs it's normal course I'd say he's got off lightly, bones will mend. That crash looked bad from the first viewing but then seeing the slo-mo replay, from above the bend, Wow, terrible impact. As mentioned previously in this thread, airfences, what a valuable introduction they have been to speedway, especially now these rocket machines are flying round. Best wishes to Charles, he'll have plenty of time to get his bones mended in readiness for next season. Such a shame just as his opportunity to impress the Poles arose.
  7. Was a sensible ride, only made one error and recovered his position well, hopefully it will help him settle any nerves.
  8. Just a thought but maybe every rider should consider the paying public and go out in every race to win, putting the upmost effort into it.
  9. Turn it off then. Doubt there's another track in the country could've got this on after all the rain, give it chance and we could be in for a decent night's speedway.
  10. I actually like Richard but people like you claiming he would've made the difference on Saturday are way wide of the mark and don't do him any favours.. He rode well in that heat though, fair play. I doubt there's any effort to reduce his average, you think his manager would put up with that when they are losing at home?
  11. Meaning what exactly? This is his home track, surely he should do better
  12. Yeah but we would've won the world Team Cup if he'd been in the team, apparently.....
  13. I doubt it would have made much difference, they were both always going to be vulnerable, maybe next year one or the other will have made enough progress to challenge. No doubting Ellis had the speed in the race he scored 2, likewise Brennan the other night when he came in cold, they just need more experience in the best league. Riding in Poland has done wonders for Robert Lambert, Bewley seemed to settle in there quickly. I honestly didn't think we'd take it to the wire tonight, really impressed with how we did, no complaints.
