  1. Take a bow Rob Lambert, absolutely brilliant run to the line, well done lad..
  2. Am wishing we had got the race against the Russians out of the way while Emil was struggling, he was flying there.
  3. They have so many open meetings in Poland we can only assume they see this another one, rather than a prestigious Championship, shame really as the racing has been great.
  4. Yes we do, we just forgot what it feels like.
  5. Just watched heat 15 from last night again, Doyle & Fricke were left for dead, really good to see, we face them first tonight, hope we do it again.
  6. There doesn't seem to be many positive vibes going on here, seems plenty are looking for reasons why we will lose out to the devious Poles. Time for some Tub-thumping I think, we're in a fantastic position and are well capable of consolidating it from the off tonight, , Come on lads, bring it home..
  7. Great meeting, thoroughly enjoyed the racing from all teams but so chuffed to see us at the top, here's hoping it's as good and we claim the prize. Shout out to Phil Morris too, really smoothly run meeting on a decent track.
  8. Agreed but based on tonight when we've beaten everyone except the Germans, yet, I wouldn't have any fears for us in a final run off. Then again tomorrow is another day...
  9. This is just fantastic, happiness is a 5-1 over the Aussies, have that you bloaters.
  10. Smolinski going well considering the battering he took in that fall, thought he may have crossed the line first bend last lap but obviously not. Really enjoying this, tomorrow already has plenty to live up to and who knows what else can happen tonight.
  11. Well done boys, keep it going, fantastic team riding.
  12. Hts 10 & 11 were fantastic races, in fact it's a really good meeting all round, scores are close enough although a very long way to go. Here's hoping we can keep in the mix well into tomorrow evening.
  13. Of course it is but it's the way he's made, not everyone is brimming with self confidence, doesn't mean they can't succeed, unfortunately he's chosen a career that, once you reach the top end, it does require a whole new approach, hopefully he's able to make the leap. I can't fault Rossiter for putting Lambert in and leaving him in last night, Cookie just has to knuckle down and do his best if required at the weekend.
  14. Well said that lady, it's all about doing the best for the team. Apparently Cook himself said to Rossiter that he should put Lambert out when he was considering options later in the meeting, Craig's not daft, as gutted as he must have been he still knew what was the right move.
  15. Someone else who was there said they hadn't realised Cookie was on a warning, in which case it would have seemed harsh leaving him out of the rest of the meeting, once up to scratch they agreed it was the best decision for the team. I really wish Craig Cook could overcome his problems and start to enjoy a good run of success, it would do wonders for his confidence and GB would benefit too, that said I would push all the way for Lambert to be given opportunity on Friday, he showed more than enough last night to justify him getting rides. For once Rossiter did exactly the right thing last night, if indeed it was his decision to make, from what he said he's a virtual passenger on the managerial side of things now.
  16. Can't argue with that, don't think he once even took a glance over his shoulder, probably wouldn't have been able to do much anyway but dropping it over Fricke (I think) as he passed him entering turn 3 might have helped keep things tighter, instead he just kept out wide and disappeared.
  17. Here's hoping Milik & Franc can do the Aussies, would be a perfect end to the meeting if they could.
  18. He's chasing points, no other decision would do, fair play to Lambert.
  19. Good to see Fricke up and clearing the track, just a shame it was at the expense of seeing decent action from Doyle & Lindgren.
  20. Yes but it was David Watt. Now that Loram race was brilliant Krompa, sublime passing as you say.
