  1. So he didn't know it was the fuel tap either, best saying nothing when you're not sure.
  2. Nice ride Tai, passed Dudek with relative ease, looking good.
  3. I know they mentioned the bikes needing adjustment due to oxygen levels, am wondering if there's hardly any left up in the refs box, mind-boggling decisions.
  4. Well done Craig, Holder & Lindgren too busy with each other giving him the chance to pull clear.
  5. Shame for Robert but nice opportunity for Dan Bewley.
  6. Thanks Tim, that will do nicely, we're invited to the neighbours this evening for drinks etc, 8pm sounds like a good time to turn up.
  7. Based on previous experience can anyone tell me what time the last race is likely to take place please? Reruns etc can obviously have a bearing but generally I'm sure it's a fairly slick run meeting as a rule.
  8. I think they buggered it up once or twice but it's been ok in recent times since they put bricks around the edges of the tarpaulin, to keep the moisture in.
  9. Don't they still store it after each years event, kept under strict control regarding moisture etc. Used to be the case I'm sure.
  10. You get off home if you want, I mean if you've a long journey there's no point in waiting around.
  11. The tangent only came about following the mudslinging and subsequent apologies, you managed to find it ok. Larger readership will just lead to another spat once the usual suspects get stuck in.
  12. That one is disgusting, however angry someone makes him he should know better than to post anything like that, hang your head in shame fella.
  13. Can't argue with the Woffy comment but somehow I just couldn't get into it and was glad when the final was over so I could catch up with the football. Speedway is my first choice every time but it was tough going, thought it was due to just landing home after 2 chilled out weeks on Rhodes, reassured to know it wasn't just me. Roll on Saturday and another fix. Woffinden was supreme last night, I didn't think he was going to go after Lindgren once he passed Laguta, at one point Iwas even thinking he would let Laguta go to ensure Lindgren didn't progress but he reeled him in with relative ease, hope he can add another World crown and cement himself as Britain's best ever, he's knocking on that door right now.
  14. Not the best of meetings but it's nice to see Natalie finding her way with the sultry look.
  15. Correct on all counts, it's just unfortunate we were better at not team riding than the Russians.
  16. Just spotted this article in the local rag, they are looking for any clarification on the location of the picture, ie home or away. Thought I stick it on here and see if anyone is the wiser, apparently it only ran as a speedway track for 2 years, 1929 to 1930 and then ran into financial trouble, their star rider appears to have been Squib Burton, I've certainly seen mention of him on here before. Anyway, hope some find it interesting, http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/16284445.When_Warrington_was_home_to_a_speedway_and_greyhound_track/?ref=mrb&lp=10 edit, on 2nd glance I think that Number 2 could be Greg Hancock, fits the profile
  17. I think you may have mistakenly placed part of Mr High & Mighty's post and attributed it to me, be a good chap and correct things if you don't mind.
  18. Thanks for that, fyi, Bewley & Auty are mis-spelt, cheers
  19. You weren't accused of all sorts at all, just the continuous insulting people and their intelligence. Your opinions on speedway are usually worth reading but your attitude stinks.
  20. Plenty you say, I said a couple, The mood wasn't all about Tai bashing, far from it, we just wondered why he hadn't helped Lambert, nothing more nothing less. Like you said you caught up late, maybe your attention was drawn to the odd posters who had a go at Tai, far in the minority.
  21. For another day as you say Sid, Woffinden is the man of the moment and his return to the fold has to be welcomed, as has been said the experience Lambert gained this week will prove invaluable to him, as has also been said it's about the riders he beat rather than the ones he trailed. It's been a good while since I've felt so animated watching a meeting, was completely absorbing, loved it.
