Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Grand Final 2nd Leg, 5/10/16...

Oh shut up, you've slagged at least half the Belle Vue team tonight, just watch the bloody racing and enjoy it for what it is, a decent meeting on a fair track with no potholes. -

I don't think bad luck came into it on Monday, Wolves wanted it more than some of the Aces riders showed. I like the play-offs but it's nerve wracking when you're team is involved. The good thing about tonight is that it's at the best track in the country and the weather has been more than kind, whatever the result I'm sure we are in for some exciting heats, can't ask for much more to bring the curtain down on the season. Come on Aces, time to step up and do the impossible. -

Who cares, they're all cockneys anyway. As for food, depends on time really but, as you say, town is only a short bus hop away and you can get whatever you want once there. The curry mile is only 5 minutes drive if anyone likes a ruby. -

East Manchester is famous for fantastic comebacks, who can forget May 5th 2012. If Mark Lemon needs something to inspire the riders he could do worse than show them this.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81bv_gF4j5k I'll be happy for Manchester to be red, black & white for tonight, come on the Aces, give it a go, you never know.. -

Even actually selecting and naming the 2 riders to be injured, pure class indeed. -

Well done Craig Cook, he loves riding for Belle Vue and will be hurting tonight. -

Well it's certainly looking grim now with ht 15 to come. The glimmer of hope is on the basis that Fricke owes BV big time after tonight and is definitely capable of delivering on Weds, Jacobs will almost certainly bag some points, Zagar and Cook can go unbeaten if they are firing, Nicholls and the Worrall boys can pack the points in too. So it's not too bad after all, roll on Wednesday.. -

With any luck it will "let the crowd bring him home", at least then we get a couple of seconds break from the shoutiness. -
Spot on, certainly the latter half of this season he's relied on making the cutback when missing the gate or else hasn't got involved, last year he seemed to have the speed to just line the opponents up over a couple of laps and pass them at will, it was great to watch as you could almost witness his racing brain working the move. Such a shame we only have one true contender from these shores, oh for the days when we had 4 or 5 World Finalists on a regular basis. Here's hoping Rob Lambert can make some big strides next season and get himself noticed.

Of course, although I'm sure the Wolverhampton faithful will give him a round of applause, they can be a sporting lot when they want.. -

Never ever seen 2 bikes hook up like that, shame really as it was developing into a good race. Well done Max Fricke, he'll get a great welcome tomorrow night.. -

Well I'd much rather see 4 riders in every race but he did seem take a dive after missing the gate, missed it big time in the rerun too but recovered well.. -

Unsure about what the track was like in the last round but I was at the NSS for that one and it an awful night, rained throughout, hardly any actual racing as I recall. This track tonight is not up to much, so that's 2 poor surfaces they've had to endure. Lambert was riding right on the edge there but there was just no way to pass Krchmer. -

Ellis all over the place there, threw away 2nd place when he looked to have got the better of Bates. Lighting looks poor, or maybe it's lesser quality cameras etc.. -
Doesn't mean he hasn't got time though, it's all down to whether or not he can recapture the form he's shown this year. I do feel for the lad, so close and it's just snatched away like that. As has been pointed out though, it's happened before and it will happen again at some point. Definitely left a hole where there was a thrilling finale in the offing, I'm sure there will be plenty in Europe that will not bother setting their alarms for the Melbourne GP live..

That's harsh, he's a tough rider no doubt but the Doyle crash was just down to Freddie lifting, could've happened to anyone.

It's getting boring chaps, how about taking it to pm and let the rest of us concentrate on what should be two cracking meetings. I reckon the Aces need to keep it to around 6 or 7 point deficit at worst, Wolves could have too much power for us to pull back anything bigger at the NSS with the likes of Lindgren & Woffinden being capable of generating so much speed on big tracks.
