  1. Pedersen's picture in the graphics looking more like his missus, wierd.
  2. Steve Shovlar seems to know the score with Kodi, not sure if he's around. Other than that the link provided by r & r is mint, not a murmur.
  3. You're lucky Tell, most of us have suffered double bubble compared to you. Great to see the GP series get going and all that but what a dross track to choose for the opener, doesn't exactly whet the appetite for any casuals watching. Good to see Vaculik win, always comes across well when interviewed, looks really lean & mean this season.
  4. As R & R says it will be available within hours, last season when I was abroad I used this fella, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX8_1YN6CIsdaL9ZlXJFKhg Just click on his channel and it should show at the top of the list once it's uploaded, was English commentary when available last season too, looks as though he's still active as there some recent uploads.
  5. These occasions gave opportunities to the likes of Bernie Collier, Glen Hornby, Declan Eccles, Lee Edwards and no doubt many others who were chomping at the bit, shame they can't adopt this policy again.
  6. Very sad to have read this news, like most of us I had never met him but enjoyed plenty of exchanges over the years, he was never one for getting involved in spats on here and I always admired this in him. Always intended asking him if his picture was taken on the London Eye or some similar place, will miss him on here. RIP Alan, a very nice gentleman.
  7. Might have been better for you to have taken your own advice mate. You heard it 2nd hand, so you've no idea if it's bullsh1t, yet you see fit to create a thread about it, nice one, keeps the pot bubbling away.
  8. I think you're confusing her with someone else, look in the mirror dopey. Natalie knows her speedway, probably more than any other presenter except for the shoutys.
  9. If you'd followed it carefully and weren't such a nasty piece of work you would have left well alone. It's clear the thread is intended to help people out with tv meetings but you couldn't resist could you, sick individual.
  10. But you bothered your arse to watch it, you slated it the other day, so why bother watching? You make me laugh, you've spent all day defending what happened last night and then have the cheek to coat off tonight's offering for putting on a full meeting on a decent track.
  11. There's been some decent heats, Fricke looks at home in present company tonight, big year ahead for Max I hopefully.
  12. It's speedway, it's fast and close, passing at a premium but no complaints from me, welcome back speedway. Cold you say, those poor girls in their little track suits, you have to feel for them.
  13. Well I've Surfed the web and can't find any mention of this, so if I were Mort I'd issue a Bold statement to refute these claims. He's been through the wringer recently and this new rumour will give him no Comfort, I hope he can turn the Tide soon. Daz.
  14. No, it's a Volvo Dealership, bit of a difference wouldn't you say.
  15. Well as far as the 'teams' are concerned I doubt anyone gives a toss but the meetings can still deliver good racing and there are some decent riders on show. I assume the only way they can put it on at all is through the sponsors money, for that they will have to sell the team names. As you said, it's speedway, that will do for me thanks, I mean if I only watched speedway on tv that I felt partisan about I would not see much at all. I think I'll adopt a team for the coming season. Come on City!!!
  16. I remember Erik Gundersen riding in some sort of lightweight racing suit back in the mid 80's, I think he had them new for a Bradford World Final, white in colour, no idea what they were made of but apparently they weighed next to nothing and Erik reckoned it would give him more speed. I don't know if Kevlar had been invented back then.
  17. Thanks R & R, appreciate the heads up re the Eurosport2 reruns, just had my first fix of the year, the Landshutt meeting, not the best of them but enough to whet the appetite, roll on Saturday.
  18. Said he'd sent you a pm, why not keep it there instead of boring the rest of us, just sayin, it's not even as though you're on topic.
  19. Can't remember the details but the name Barry Meeks sticks in the mind, he was once recorded as having ridden the fastest on a speedway bike, this was at the old Earle Street track in Crewe, was the longest track in the country at the time, known as the 'Devil's Bowl'. I did see a couple of meetings there, we followed Rochdale as well as Belle Vue, it was a very fast track.
  20. Yes and it would flow a whole lot better if you were to stop being a d!ck. I've only just spotted the thread and was enjoying reading all the contributions, except yours of course. It's a tough one to call and I saw plenty of both teams through those eras, Cradley had some serious strength in depth, as some have mentioned Cross @ No8 was special at that age. I can understand those playing down Ken Eyre's role, he was a fans favourite but rarely piled in with big points, I do seem to recall Wilkie getting a few double figure scores though. It's all from memory in my case but it was interesting to see Cradley's average scores were better, I suppose it then comes down to quality of opposition in the 2 different eras. Great thread Sid, keep them coming.
  21. Well technically you're not breaking the law by buying those pizzas but if you modify them in any way, seasoning, extra cheese etc, then you could be in trouble. It's not for me to tell others the rights and wrongs, if your conscience allows you to eat them then so be it, my main concern is to let those who are not so savvy, know of the pitfalls, it's what I do, I'm good like that. Anyway, I'll leave it there if you're ok with that.
  22. Fair comment but possibly different when it's someone's job, possibly not. What about if I want to end my contract with British Gas early, does the fact that someone else replaces me as a customer mean that I need not pay up the remainder of the contract? I would think that unless Sky did a deal with BT then they are bound by the terms of the contract and would have to pay up. Either way I'm happy if coverage switches to BT, more Natalie Quirk Edit, just seen a couple more posts, happy to be wrong re the contract.
  23. Surely if Sky pull out of a contract they are liable for the remaining months irrespective of whether or not the BSPA can negotiate an alternative.
