  1. That is NOT the point. The point is that the current System of nominating Riders is robbing Riders who MAY have qualified for a Grand Prix place. No I don't - BUT crucially I think it would have been morally CORRECT. I don't see how you can call Riders who have qualified in front of other, perhaps more gifted Riders as DROSS. Anyway - let's just carry on picking who BSI want in the GP - it's matterless what anybody else thinks anyway. THEY pay the MONEY - THEY can PICK the Riders I suppose. Doesn't make it RIGHT though. SPEEDWAY - SOLD FOR A SONG!!!!!
  2. OH YES THEY ARE!!! By any reasonable standpoint - Logic, Season overall, Morality and Fairness. Who cares about all that though - this IS Speedway after all.
  3. Chris Holder is ALL the PROOF that I need. Had he not slid under the Air Fence and hit the fence behind he would NOT be in the state he is in now. How the Air Fence is anchored though is a different argument which needs to be looked at. The Air Fence WOULD have saved Chris a lot of trouble had his Bike not 'lifted' the fence so that he came in contact with, as I say, the Fence behind.
  4. No matter WHO wins the 'Play Offs' - Somerset will STILL be League Champions though. :approve:
  5. VERY well put Sir. There should be NO compromise on Rider Safety. The Sport is very dangerous and anything that can reasonably reduce the chances of serious injury to Riders, or for that matter Spectators should be considered.
  6. And is not this the problem with the SELECTION System? Crazy System.
  7. Not with Wilkinson. Used to like him but not consistent enough for me.
  8. Ask BLAZEAWAY!!! I'm sure HE will help you.
  9. If 'Elf 'n Safety move in, and get their way - they will probably shut the Sport down altogether.
  10. I think that is a great idea barrow boy. It would certainly help with continuity at both of the Tracks. :approve:
  11. Mentioned again on BBC1 this morning - Louise Minchen wished Tai good luck in his quest for the World Speedway Title. :approve:
  12. Good win tonight. :approve: Star of the Show Ludvig Lindgren had a great Night. Let's hope that he can do the same on Sunday...............................................?
  13. There DOES seem to be a 'one Rule for us and one Rule for them' attitude prevalent at present. What is needed is consistency - a level Playing Field for EVERYONE!!!
  14. It IS refreshing though isn't it? :approve:
  15. Reading this Thread I am in despair. I did not know a lot about the content the above Posts, the only thing that surprises me is that Speedway is still running at all.
  16. Perhaps they should ask THEM to PAY for them. I DO think they are a good thing though.
  17. Well said BWitcher - at least we agree on something. :)
  18. I hope that you can help by using your great influence to get Speedway back on SKY next Season Hougaard Racing Fans. Remember - we are ALL counting on you to pull it off - OOPS!!
  19. I hope there are 'Live Updates' on the Newcastle Website tonight. Anyone know please??
  20. Excellent - some more good Publicity. I just hope that Tai can get his SIX Points and we will get some more for our Sport. :approve:
  21. You really are a Top Man Dave. :approve:
