  1. Much prefer Eurosport to BT Sport. For a start Eurosport is cheaper and has a major advantage that you can pause/rewind/fast forward...makes it much more flexible when watching
  2. There was an outside line starting to build up as TJ used it to good effect. Then almost as soon as it appeared it disappeared again. Were Wolves management worried that the Stars might get back into the meeting so graded (or should have watered) to get rid of it ? I would personally have left Jack Thomas in heat 14 - he had been gating and stood as much chance at getting points as the rest of the Stars. If Richie Worrall was coming in I'd have replaced Lewis Kerr who had been pretty ineffectual all meeting. Agree with others that Eurosport should perhaps consider a commentator alongside Kelv so he could revert to his former role, or maybe we just need to give Kelv time to adapt to his new lead role. I get the feeling Eurosport are maybe trying different combinations to see what might work best.
  3. A stars win at foxhole is worth seeing, even if there is nothing riding on it !
  4. Is Nicki Pedersen still up for one final UK fling?
  5. Surely it should be called round the air fence?
  6. Add in the risk of the track freezing later in meeting. Had an abandonment at Lynn a few years back as the moisture in the track froze as temperature dropped. Hate to think what real temperature would have been when you throw in a significant wind chill. Right call imo
  7. Heart says go and cheer on the Stars. Brain says don't be ****** stupid, strong winds, very cold and some rain in the day. Jury out, but my cosy woodburner winning at mo, but only just..!
  8. Think we'll need more than bobble hats! BBC weather currently showing 3 degrees at 8pm, 2 degrees by 10pm. Sleet and rain in the day, although looks dry by the evening. If it goes ahead we'll need 10 pairs of socks and six coats each to stay vaguely warm. Could be ice speedway at Foxhole. Hopefully stars will turn up with spikes in their tyres to help them get round....
  9. Doesn't seem to be tickets available to buy online for Lewis's meeting or home fixtures in general. Bit of a backward step of you ask me, unless I'm just impatient... The ticket office on stars website still talks about 2021 tickets and nothing showing as available. Anyone would think we still lived in the dark ages and computers had never been invented in West Norfolk...
  10. I'm still a regular KL fan. Now live near Loddon (south east Norfolk) - hour and 10mins to KL and Ippo is about the same for me. Norwich closed the year I was born, so would love a Norwich team to support, would reduce my mileage no end - as long a track is decent shape / size (like Belle Vue would be ideal!!). Don't think there are many regulars travelling from Norwich area like me these days so doubt a Norwich track would affect KL numbers to any great degree. Unfortunately don't think there are many places round Norwich you could easily set up a track, most places, like the showground, have too many houses nearby and too much NIMBY opposition. Without strong council support will never get off the ground. Stupid thing is, in the right place with the right promotion, Norwich is a decent sized city and likely to attract good crowds.
  11. Seems a bit strange, only been with us for half a season!
  12. Definitely prefer MPT than Killer. If its not MPT, then there must be better options that Killer on a 7pt average, can only see him going one way these days, and even when he was a decent rider, his riding style, although appearing exciting, meant he spent far too many times on his backside
  13. Connor Mountain should be one of first names on the team sheet, hope some of above posts are wrong....
  14. Unless last year's 2 year deal with Kerr means it's a done deal, but does seem odd with usual merry go round of riders it hasn't been properly announced
  15. Not Proctor, would be an awful signing - was an awful signing last time as well (and said that before the season started). His average might fit, but well past his best and unlikely to improve
  16. We could double that in the next 7 days.....
  17. You just turn up as usual. It will still be valid tonight on turnstiles My problem is I was away for original staging so bought ticket this morning that's not yet come through. At least I took a screen shot of order number, so hoping I can get in!!
  18. Yup so I reckon ref should have excluded both, it was soo bl00dy obvious!
  19. TBF, Heaps rode ok at Foxhole last week. Unfortunately it's proven to be a flash in the pan. Maybe trying to sell himself back to his previous employer... Hoping Kasper has had a chance to develop further since his first spell with us. And you have to wonder if Wells and Heaps knew about the change before Monday, hence their poor returns (again)
  20. You could have argued king caused Riss to fall when they touch at end of straight leaving Riss with not enough room to turn. If I'd have been ref i'd have excluded king. Bit 50/50 really, decision could have gone either way And hind sight says stars should have put a tactical out when we had the chance
  21. Don't remember that. I was standing between bends one and two and we certainly cheered when we were awarded 5-1. And people clapped when he got up. Must have only been a few idiots. From my view point, it looked like Worrall steamed under Etheridge causing him to fall. I know it was irrelevant to score, but Worrall should have been excluded
  22. Brilliant night, great racing and we WON!! Super atmosphere, helped by man on the mic. Best micman we've had for years Can we still sneak in playoffs?!
