Yep, looks like r/r for Masters Easy home win now

It's only Wolves. They rarely do well at Lynn. Even with r/r should be enough in the tank...

Belle Vue v Kings Lynn Euroflop 11 July
kelvinht replied to secsy1's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Didn't really see the point of putting TJ in heat 14, Jason deserved his 4 ride based on 2 points in his previous ride and looking competitive. Match was Well truly lost by then. If you were going to bother with change I'd have stuck him in instead of Lewi. Decent racing as always at Belle Vue, shame about the sh*t result. Lynn boys seem to be overriding. You need to be smooth at BV and build your speed, not fighting the bike all the time -

probably the latter! He was saying on twitter or somewhere that he was hoping to kick start his international career in that international challenge -

Good luck with that. Was at Bryan Adams Friday night, hour and half to get out of car park! Oh and avoid alysham road due to roadworks, Holt road better option -

Alex and Allit both stated in Thursdays program that they can't find any suitable replacement for Niels and hope to have him back in August as polish fixtures winding down. Possibly too late by then though -

Does Harris fit for r/r for Neils? Would liven the meeting up and give us a fighting chance? -
A47 can be a pain after 8pm. You land on road closures with no real prior warning if you aren't a regular user. Sounds like you found your way back to Swaffham like I did. G0d knows where I was! Suspect official diversion was nearly back to downham market then over to A11 - that's miles extra

But in the best interests of the sport, I'm sure we could shoehorn him in -
No idea, but that would be a good guess. Looking at wording, don't think it's about Boris. Maybe Alex wants more control at KL? If that was the case I wouldn't be against it.... Or I could be reading it completely wrong, so don't quote me !!
-
Hans might get more than you'd expect as there is a reasonable chance teams will stick in their RS against him
-
Don't know why all the negativity on this. Watched first round on BSN, went to Ippo for second round, and will be at Lynn tomorrow. It's a good concept, but as usual needs much better promotion to interest people outside the speedway circle. The only thing that needs a bit more thought is use of the reserves
-
would both fit with the right change?

Mostly agree! Kelv has stepped up well and is doing a very good job as lead presenter. Chris and Scotty complement him nicvely. I'm ok with Abi, although is maybe not as good as Nat or Charlie, but they were big shoes to fill. Sam is definitely the weak link, when you bear in mind he has been doing this presenting for a year or two now and before that co-commentator for some of the Swedish matches(?) he really isn't up to the job. Presenting takes a certain skill, credit to Sam for giving it a go, but there must be better options out there...

Agreed, definitely need a replacement before next match for NKI. Not sure who is out there that would be a suitable replacement though

King's Lynn v Sheffield 23/06

I see Cookie made a miraculous recovery to be able to ride for Glasgow tonight, although according to updates only managed a race when he ploughed into Nick Morris who shed a chain. Not having a lot of luck... -

Teams this year in premiership are all pretty similar standard wise, so it doesn't take a lot to tip the balance of fixtures one way or the other. Losing NKI and Jack has certainly affected us. We certainly benefited early season in League Cup Would argue Ipswich having 'luxury' of r/r for Paul Starke at no. 2 made them stronger when they rode against us -

Should have been able to capitalise on Cookies withdrawal, but just too much inconsistencies through the team. Picketing with bike problems didn't help. Morris put in a decent shift, probably not far off what NKI would have scored. I would personally put Worrall or Morris to partner Pickering in heat 15, both were gating well, but ultimately being a couple of points down going into heat , 15 was always going to be a big ask -

I'll wait til I see the lineups before passing judgement. Was going to be a hard match with a full side, but new reserve and r/r or guest for NKI makes me think if we get anything out of this we'll do bl00dy well. But if we do, that augers well for the rest of the season -
Agreed!! We mostly always start the season with high hopes and always end up disappointed. Just to win once, thats all we ask!! Getting to the critical point in the season now. If TJ is a short term injury then we can live with that, but need Richie Lawson to come to the party. Kerr (apart from bike probs last night) and Worrall look to be coming back into a bit of form. And the good replacement for the unlucky Jack.. If TJ is going to be a bit longer term need to start looking at options and possible 28 day replacement... R/r never seems to work well for us for any length of time

Not in this one. Doyle against the top star, I'd not be confident of a stars win at that point -

Will certainly need everyone on their A game tomorrow tonight. Expect usual big score from Doyle, so any points we take off him will be a bonus. Think we should be strong enough to keep Riss, Batch, King at bay. BB is inconsistent. With a bit of luck we could have won at foxhole last week, so a win by 8 to 10 points will do nicely! -
Pretty much spot on. Pickering had a better meeting than the match at Foxhall earlier in the season, hoping he'll nail it down there next time! Heat 14 was the killer in the end, Doyle was nailed on 3 points in heat 15 so we needed to go into it at least 2 points up. Generally poor meeting racing wise though, just kept interesting with the close score line.
