  1. Can anyone confirm that their is now an application in to build flats on the site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. So how does the BSPA plan fit in with the rest of the world. Poland, Sweden, Denmark etc and what happens to GP riders and SWC?
  3. Is there a reason why Leicester are starting at 1pm or for that matter why are they not running Sunday?
  4. The meeting being switched to Belle Vue, I can not see it making any difference to the time the meeting finishes. Is it not the GOD Sky TV that makes the meeting drag on, on and on. I will certainly be missing from BV that night (and I have no Sky TV).
  5. Can anyone tell me where I can buy tickets for the Thursday in Berlin?
  6. Looks like they have the sponsors but the venues appear to remain classified information. When are they now being announced?
  7. Looks good. With only six home fixtures, will they be run in April, May & June. Rain offs etc in July, play offs in August, NLRC on Bank Holiday. Feet up and xmas cards done by mid september!! - What could go wrong???????????????
  8. Anyone remember the late great Jack Millen?
  9. Looking good so far but must sign the potential for many 5-1's in heat two if we are to be winners.
  10. Will there be a Northern Territory Championship so anyone requiring a visa can finish in the top 4?
  11. Not a thing in either of Melbourne's daily papers today.
  12. So you talk sense, but this is Speedway. You seem to think that a "Promotor" should promote. Long live sense, but this is Speedway.
  13. So what is the point of planning permission if it planned to get special dispensation. Why not just get the correct permission in the first place!
  14. There are a number of restrictions in place from the planning permission: For example, meetings can be held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays only - 18:00 to 22:30 There shall be no more than 43 meetings during the main season of which no more than 25 meetings will be held on Fridays and no more than 18 meetings on Wednesdays or Saturday There shall be 7 hours of practice sessions 3 of which will be Sundays (main season) or Saturdays (out of season). The practice sessions shall start no later than 12:00 (midday) and finish no later than 18:00. If I read this correctly and there was an FIM event at Belle Vue on a Saturday and it was rained off, when would it be rerun as it appears that like Berwick (last year) there will be no facility for a Sunday meeting. Indeed it would appear the next date would be Wednesday. Should this be correct, why would the FIM even think about allocating any fixtures to Belle Vue?
  15. Did KL not cancel v Buxton 48 hours after the world cup, was it not again a rain free waterlogging.
  16. "ludicrous decision by the referee to complete the occasion" - Please explain.
  17. Any news of any help for supporters thinking about attending these two fixtures?
  18. Any news from the glorious Peak District, currently very wet in Lancs.
  19. Where can I find any confirmation of the Berlin dates and where can I get tickets?
  20. Scunthorpe, Plymouth and now Berwick. Edinburgh had the begging bowl out in April. Workington's gates have been poor and only a week or so ago Brian Havelock was saying that Redcar are 150-200 down per week. If you then add Coventry, Swindon and Lakeside to the above, what is left? There needs to be a "promoters" meeting now without self interest. If they don't, then there will be no Elite or Premier league.
  21. Sorry mate, Durno was correct. We were at the third bend end of the back straight, Stokes made proper contact with Woolley our only thought was had the referee got a clear view. As for Carr's ride, fantastic although in the cold light of day, the points lost may make a big difference on Friday.
  22. As with all tracks it's time for a long hard rethink and if that means losing teams from the Premier League so be it. If the national League at weekends is the answer then great. So much money appears to be wasted in the PL on second rate Aussies, Finns, Danes and now Italians. No wonder Rob is struggling to keep up.
