Photography Restrictions At Meetings
BuxtonTiger replied to Willowman's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Last season at Belle Vue it was clear no photography (Prog & Ticket) - Yet their late great centre green announcer was telling you to get your cameras out and take photos. Still they might not have told him!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Are they allowing doubling/trebling up ?

Thanks mate. I have no reason to doubt you however, one would think a bit more communication between the "business" and its customers would not go amiss. -

As there is no comment on anything official about the track, I think I will give this a miss. I assume that nothing will have been done during the day and that when the riders turn up some sort of track preparation may or may not take place. BV and Speedway are meant to be professional, if that is the case and with their "previous" why not keep the public informed? -
Christmas day is still free from GPs!!

Anyone in Sheffield, how is the weather? (Pissing down over the hill). -
Easy, the don't have planning permission for Sundays. Apparently had the world cup been rained of the would have been they would have had a special exemption!! So because Belle Vue forgot their own rules a lot of riders will miss out the chance to ride at Northside on Saturday (now half their field is at Belle Vue). Also now another two Northern Junior League matches need rearranging. Are Belle Vue just run by a bunch of MUPPETS??

So last week AJ missing at Belle Vue last week, Zager at Lakeside, Fricke now out tonight and untill Zager comes to tapes must be questionable. I am sure racing will be good tonight and will be making the trip. But why can the riders take the piss in the UK. Sometimes I don't fancy going to work but if I did'nt there would only be one outcome.

Do we know how Mr Zagar is. I note he rode yesterday but last week he managed to ride on wednesday but was injured by friday. What is today's situation?

Belle Vue V Lakeside Wed 3rd August
BuxtonTiger replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Belle Vue appear to be very good at saying nothing until the last minute, friday Hancock, today AJ. But had I had the information, I would not have gone tonight. This time BV got my money but will there be a next time. They can take the piss out of some people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. After Friday and tonight I have no other thoughts than Belle Vue are robbing b-------s. -

Regarding Mr Bear's comments, this does appear to be a little pedantic. Surley GI as a reputable company will have done their homework, are you somekind of a planning expert?

What is the weather forecast, is the meeting on? -
Has anyone got a link for a blank World Cup racecard?

Whats the point, I had three meetings planned for this weekend and then Birmingham on wednesday. Three are off but the weather forcast is good (can someone let me know how to access the Speedway "Promotors" weather forcast). As for next wednesday, I think I will save the stress of the M6 and go to the pub. It even opens when it rains!
