So it is Joey Ringwood that has been refused a visa... Aussies have been an integral part of Premier League speedway and it is a shame that as a part of the commonwealth , they need visas at all..The system needs to change !! Perhaps teams should apply for 2-3 year visas for their riders... main problem as I see it , is that the AGM is not until November and team making decisions cannot be done until after that and aussies are away home before then, it is a bit unfair to ask them to stay longer so as to apply for visa before they go home..
I think Workington are the team to beat next season, they will have an awesome team spirit which is like an extra man...That was what made the difference in our league winning season in 2011, as well as having Nick Morris at reserve
Seen a post couple of pages back from a poster called Moose. Was that a hint that Travis McGowan is making a comeback ?
If Screeny is doing another year at Sheffield , you are very lucky , he is a joy to watch in full flight
Stewart has shown in the past that he is one of the best tactical managers in speedway and if anyone can get the best out of a team , he can, look at the difference he made when he joined the team at the end of last season, immediate improvement , shame it was too late to make a difference to position in the league
Welcome to Glasgow , Mark Lemon, I am sure he will be a solid second string for us and may even get some good race wins,Mark by his own standards had a poor season last year, he should at least hold his current average
Henning did the job he was asked last season, but because our team was weak and we only had 2 heatleaders it put pressure on Henning to be our third heatleader, he would do a good job as second string
Welcome to Glasgow Dimitri, Three to go, do we have Joey Ringwood at reserve along with Anders and go for 2 x 7 pointers or do we have Dimitri at reserve and go for an 8 point no. 1 and a 6 + 5+ second strings ?
