Berwick V Glasgow (lc) Saturday, April 12th
Weeyin replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Will be interesting to see how our youngsters get on at Shielfield, Dimitri did some laps there last year I believe, don't know how he did, but we will see on Saturday, looking forward to seeing Anders with better machinery than last year... if only he could gate !! Berwick is one of my fave away trips, always have a great day out there, just hope the weather is kind and it is not too cold..Think the Bandits will win with Glasgow winning on the Sunday , if the racing is as good as it was at Glasgow's last meeting , then I will be going home happy -
Glasgow V Workington Lc Sunday April 6th At 3p.m.
Weeyin replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hope it is on tomorrow, going to be another tough meeting, reckon Josh will go through the card, hopefully our reserves will outscore the comet reserves as both Danish boys have had their engines tuned this week, would make life easier if our boys had their gating boots on. Think it will be very close cant decide who will get the win -

Weeyin replied to Django's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hopefully we will give you a good meeting Lets face it we must be better than last year -
Kasper Lykke 4.04 according to official Glasgow website
-
Official Kasper Lykke replaces Joey Ringwood
-
Haha made me chuckle Paulco, good description, hopefully our team this season will show a vast improvement, not long to go now
-
I would like to give Barrett a chance ... but it is not him that is lined up to replace Joey if visa falls through
-
It's not Helfer
-
The person in mind has a slightly higher average than Joey
-
Stars night not as busy as usual, notable absences as lots were at the ice hockey
-
considering we had 4 Brits in the team at one point last season, I think we can be allowed a season with no Brits for once
-
Taylor should be fine with visa as he has had a year out
-
Would be a shame if Joey misses out this season as I am sure he would make steady progress especially if he could stay injury free, he showed some promise at the tail end of the season... there cant be many 4 point riders left out there

Will You Be Back At Sheffield In 2014
Weeyin replied to MWC's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Might even be earlier depending on who we get to replace Joey Ringwood ;p -
So it is Joey Ringwood that has been refused a visa... Aussies have been an integral part of Premier League speedway and it is a shame that as a part of the commonwealth , they need visas at all..The system needs to change !! Perhaps teams should apply for 2-3 year visas for their riders... main problem as I see it , is that the AGM is not until November and team making decisions cannot be done until after that and aussies are away home before then, it is a bit unfair to ask them to stay longer so as to apply for visa before they go home..

I think Workington are the team to beat next season, they will have an awesome team spirit which is like an extra man...That was what made the difference in our league winning season in 2011, as well as having Nick Morris at reserve
-
The way I see it Mark is commenting on Aussies difficulty in general, I don't think he means himself
-
Seen a post couple of pages back from a poster called Moose. Was that a hint that Travis McGowan is making a comeback ? If Screeny is doing another year at Sheffield , you are very lucky , he is a joy to watch in full flight
-
James should do a good job for you
-
I am a member of chat zone and had no problem being accepted
-
Anders Thomsen should be Glasgow's biggest improver next season
-
Stewart has shown in the past that he is one of the best tactical managers in speedway and if anyone can get the best out of a team , he can, look at the difference he made when he joined the team at the end of last season, immediate improvement , shame it was too late to make a difference to position in the league
-
Welcome to Glasgow , Mark Lemon, I am sure he will be a solid second string for us and may even get some good race wins,Mark by his own standards had a poor season last year, he should at least hold his current average
-
Mark Lemon completes for Glasgow , on official site
-
Joey Ringwood has signed for Glasgow, on official site
