  1. Josh Bates' tweet suggests he's signed for Leicester, doesn't it??
  2. Jacobs didn't achieve his 8.63 last season though.
  3. If the Warriors finish 2 places behind Eastbourne, then I'll be happy.
  4. There's no other meeting scheduled on that date.
  5. Kent have cancelled their May home fixture against BV/Coventry so there must be some concern that they won't run at all. The press release says that a later date maybe more suitable but if BV/Coventry are running then what difference would moving an away fixture from May to potentially September make?!
  6. Gutting for Coventry fans, but also the Coventry rider's who it appears weren't even told!
  7. Surely Hughes' reasons are the sort of stuff he should've considered before he accepted the position. I wonder if Campos will consider filling the role permanently or temporarily.
  8. Mellish seems pretty involved with the Colts so far so it seems likely that he'll get a team spot and the Woodhull twins unofficially share another. Bickley should be one of the genuine stars next season, along with Brennan & Jenkins. But even when he moves up, a top 5 of him, Bewley, Shuttleworth, Payne & Smith is enough to beat most teams before even accounting for the reserves scores. Whilst Mellish isn't poor by any means, even if the twins struggle initially. I think their let down will be when they face stronger sides at the end of the season who can match their heat leaders and if they have a lot of fixture clashes because they have 3 riders doubling-up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Payne end the season in the Championship.
  9. 1. Belle Vue/Coventry 2. Mildenhall 3. Eastbourne 4. Cradley 5. Birmingham 6. Kent 7. Buxton 8. Isle of Wight 9. Lakeside 10. King's Lynn 11. Stoke 12. Plymouth
  10. Doesn't that show to you how confident the prospective Aces and Colts riders are that a deal will be struck? None of the Colts riders that you would expect to be in the team have signed up elsewhere, so nobody has signed for another side 'just in case'. They're all confident that they'll be riding this season.
  11. He's decent enough and he'll hit over 3.00, whereas Im unsure if Locke or Whitmore will.
  12. Not very long. Hampshire will move up after the first set of averages.
  13. Another promising youngster signed up 😉
  14. A bit unfair on fans of other teams to give Somerset 2 national events, don't you think.
  15. Why is the British Semi no longer at Scunny? It was the best meeting last year.
  16. Yes it's not fair but I guess the Heathens either put up with that or nothing tbf.
  17. I agree, especially if he rides Arlington like he did in October.
  18. What time do Birmingham start on a Bank Holiday Monday?
  19. Not a great average for guests early on in the season either.
  20. If it's a clash of fixtures then they can use a guest regardless of his position in the team (as long as he's not at reserve).
  21. Pipe talks about Perks being here for the season and maybe leaving if he thinks he might not be able to carry on. Whereas Perks talks as if he only plans on doing the first few meetings and then re-evaluating the situation. I wonder if Perks will gradually miss more and more meetings, especially away, with the Hitmen using decent guests each time.
