  1. You mean it was a mistake? Surely Greaves' guest (Shuttleworth) should have his points removed then.
  2. As he hasn't ridden for the team yet you're not allowed a facility. Jayne explained on the Hitmen vs Stoke thread.
  3. Useless is harsh. Plus R/R is likely to be taken by Woolley, Rutherford & Geary twice. Hardly going to set the world on fire compared to Dicken.
  4. You could've used Bickley etc until Hay's facility runs out and then used Roberts anyway as he would be an unattached 3.00. So use Roberts for a month but sign Halder with the intention of him riding once he's completed his exams in early/mid June.
  5. It is a good choice. Not many NL heat leaders have ridden as many laps around Monmore lately as Greaves.
  6. I thought that rule was being ignored now. The Isle of Wight used a guest for Greaves in their first official fixture.
  7. I agree but I thought they'd get proper guests in his place.
  8. You've drawn Kent and the winner of that faces King's Lynn.
  9. What 4 teams are better then? I think there's a clear top 5 like Hunters has said. It's still about winning as well as development. Try being a supporter of a stand alone team who's only speedway is in this division and you'll realise that you want your team to win, like in any sport.
  10. Is anybody going to Plymouth tonight and able to text for the updates site?
  11. Riding with a broken scaphoid? That's a risky one!
  12. R/R for Hume and use someone like Jenkins or Bickley guesting for Hay??
  13. You're allowed to keep existing assets but can't get any new ones. It's a joke really, and imposed on the NL by the league's above.
  14. This season's Luke Harris has been miles better than last season's. It'll be interesting to see how well he goes on a track he should know.
  15. Coles will be riding for your lot but Perry will be missing for Cradley, as he's at Glasgow.
  16. A good signing that strengthens the team.
  17. I agree that Mason is doing his job. I wasnt meaning to criticise him. I was meaning to point out that he's done nothing spectacular either and his average is slightly inflated at this point in the season by 1 of his 2 away meetings being at Kent where he's ridden the past couple of years. Also yes I did mention Stoneman and his scores for Kent havent been good but he's still beaten Mason at Lakeside and I saw Stoneman in the U21 semi where he was impressive, from the back, and beat Shanes in a great race.
  18. So the lack of a tactical ride is here to stay and that seems to be what the majority on this thread want too.
  19. He may have a decent average atm but Mason won't have an easier away track than Kent. He's ridden there enough lately. Whilst yesterday he couldn't beat the opposition's second and third heat leaders when, with respect, other team's have more powerful numbers 3 & 5. He's had an alright start to the season but surely a 7pt average is only alright.
  20. Laurence was a strange signing. He's been around years and never improved much and hasn't even had a team for a couple of years. Yet he got a spot straight away, months ago, whereas the likes of Couzins and MacDonald had to 'try out'. But there's not much difference between them all.
  21. Rearrange means change or move around. That hasn't happened, just more dates have been added. If a team makes the next play-offs they're not 'rearranged' fixtures just because they were t there at the start of the season, but more fixtures added. Nevertheless Edinburgh should get priority but it's not worded that way.
  22. This is a very pedantic argument. The juniors before the meeting will have all been teenagers with some not even at the league racing minimum age yet. They're actually kids and aren't yet at league standard.
