I agree which is why I thought he wouldnt be fit for April. Hopefully he's back sooner rather than later because he's a promising rider.
-
I just thought it would make the team very top heavy. Plus I expected Coles to sign.
-
That must mean that Mountain isn't fit for the start of the campaign unfortunately.
-
Taking only scores for the Warriors, Cupitt averaged 4.16 last season and 4.90 including bonus points. That's called progression from his previous scoring.
-
Bellego is a decent signing on that figure because he pretty consistently beat 8 point PL riders last season and was in a high 8 average at one point until a slight slump. But his PLRC performance showed that he can definitely hold his own in that company. He's a rider who's improving and signing those is how you make a decent team.

The minimum average is 2017 is a 2.00 as opposed to this years 3.00. Also Wallner technically averaged 3.83 last season but the minimum average for team building for a foreigner is 4.00.
-
Surely Eagles will be looking at getting Hopwood back on his low average.
-
As expected tbh. It looks a decent team but I doubt it'll make the play-offs, though it definitely has entertainment in it!

3 confirmed signings by Jackie Vatcher so far in Ben Wilson (8.50), James Cockle (7.35) and Chris Widman (4.45). A team I'd like to see to a 40.00 limit is: 1. Ben Wilson 8.50 2. Chris Widman 4.45 3. Nathan Stoneman 6.98 / Brendan Johnson 6.21 4. Ben Hopwood 5.83 5. James Cockle 7.35 6. Layne Cupitt 3.00 7. Tyler Govier 3.30 / Kelsey Dugard 4.28 39.41 / 39.62 There's 2 permutations in case Stoneman goes to Mildenhall or Dugard to Eastbourne. A team I'd like to see to a 38.00 limit is: 1. Ben Wilson 8.50 2. Chris Widman 4.45 3. Ben Hopwood 5.83 4. Kelsey Dugard 4.28 5. James Cockle 7.35 6. Charley Powell 4.05 7. Layne Cupitt 3.00 37.46

Yeah, Greenwood. They should do but a return to Cradley makes sense.
-
Looks a certainty to me.
-
It'll be Douglas, Auty, MPT, Wilko, Kerr, Wallner & Bailey. But Wilko is a poor signing imo.
-
They should sign Govier at reserve and a couple of the old guard will likely return, for example Smart, so the team should be decent enough too.

Birmingham Brummies 2017 Hat Trick

Yeah he did well in 2015, but he's still been around longer than Cupitt and are on similar averages. -
All of those rode as NZ riders when commonwealth riders were allowed in the NL. BWD rode in the NL because he has partiality but they've since changed the rules that to do the NL you need a British passport, which Jade Mudgway got earlier this year.

Cupitt improved lots once he moved to Smallbrook and then you've contradicted yourself by mentioning Kirby! -
Doyle apart, I don't that team would make last seasons PL play-offs!
-
With the current rules preventing Ash from DU then there's a bit of a gap at number 1. Williamson back?
-
If they get the other 5 members right then that's a play-off team.
-
The EL & PL clubs made the decision so then it allows them to sign riders for free rather than paying a transfer fee or loan fee to an NL side.
-
NL clubs can't sign new assets at all. Its a rule decided by the upper leagues last winter.
-
How is Alex Davies doing?
-
Wasn't it part of some agreement with Lakeside to benefit both parties. For example Kent kept theirs and Len said so.
-
Bailey, Hampshire and Kinsley should be the spine of the side with Campos in there as an experienced because leader he seemed to embrace that role last season. Whitmore didnt look ready for NL racing this season to me, so let him concentrate on MDL.
-
You can keep assets that you already have. Teams just can't sign new ones.
