  1. What about NL teams who aren't even in the competition??
  2. I've obviously missed this, but when did Ayres crash to break his wrist?
  3. I think Bernie is right. At the AGM they said the deadline is Sun Sept 25th.
  4. Johnson has practiced and is fit now. Not allowed a facility so had to use an unattached 3.00 rider (number 8s are also classed as unattached).
  5. Harris won't get a new average until Sept though and Cottham should be back by then.
  6. Len's running scared and doesn't want the Warriors using Liam Carr for Compton (Cupitt is riding at number 1), but here's the rulebook showing why his argument that there can't be a guest for Compton for longer than 28 days is invalid. '16.5.2 For an absent rider with (a) an assessed MA, or has been approved in a team’s declared line-up at the start of the season, a 28-day Facility may be granted at MC’s discretion. ' '16.5.2.1 In the NL this only applies if he was in that Team’s 1-7 at the close of the previous season.' The Isle of Wight weren't even running 'at the close of the previous season'... So surely the usual facilities rules apply without a time limit restriction.
  7. Tai & Lambert KK & Dudek Lindback & Lindgren Doyle & Holder
  8. Free admission to Poole season ticket holders at the Isle of Wight tonight because we have Adam Ellis back with us, guesting at number 1!
  9. Race-off Doyle & Fricke Emil & G. Laguta Hancock Janniro & Wells Fisher MJJ & Iversen
  10. That's the reason! He is still on his 2015 average but next month it goes to 9.29.
  11. True Pete. I just thought that info all but confirms who it is.
  12. So Speight is replaced by William O'Keefe. Speight has been struggling badly but I'm not sure if putting a young lad in for his first ever full-time NL spot is an improvement. Also what years was Pipe at Redcar? Compton was there in 2008 and 2009.
  13. Jeez, you've just resulted to insults! When the Mildenhall match statement clarified who was involved in the appeal process then why are we not told who made this decision?
  14. Reading the SCB statement, there seems to be 2 conclusions from it. Firstly the BSPA didn't know there own rules last week and told Edinburgh that they could use a guest for Bewley (if they'd have got that bit right then there would've been no controversy at all). Secondly Scunthorpe, and all teams, should put a protest in at the appropriate time scale, otherwise the referee's decision is final. Both of which points seem to have come to a fair conclusion, but the legitimacy of the appeal has to be questioned when one of the panel examining it was Edinburgh's promoter!
  15. Enough on Twitter last night were complaining of underhand time wasting tactics.
  16. Round 1 (Vojens, Denmark) Russia (Red) 2 Emil Sayfutdinov 4 Artem Laguta Poland (Blue) 1 Maciej Janowski 2 Patryk Dudek Czech Republic (White) 2 Matej Kus 4 Vaclav Milik Denmark (Yellow) 1 Kenneth Bjerre 4 Niels-Kristian Iversen Round 2 (Vastervik, Sweden) Australia (Red) 1 Chris Holder 4 Jason Doyle USA (Blue) 1 Greg Hancock 3 Billy Janniro Germany (White) 2 Kai Huckenbeck 4 Martin Smolinski Sweden (Yellow) 1 Antonio Lindback 3 Andreas Jonsson
  17. The change of plan must have meant when he's making his debut then and not whether he is riding altogether.
  18. Yeah, Pipe said he's not riding today because of a change of plan.
