Of course we don't because that's the top level of British speedway! The argument here is that most agree that their should be a limit determining what ability a rider can reach before he is no longer allowed to ride in the NL and therefore progress upwards into the PL and EL. But our current league structure does t aid that natural progression. Some think that Ellis is above that limit, but some don't. Though there's a clear argument for Ellis being the highest achiever in the league and currently at a higher standard than Morris, Clegg et al, when you look at his EL average, a World Cup place and U21 achievements.
