Tbf there is basically no-one out there to replace Knuckey on that average. That's why Cradley have used R/R for nearly 2 months now as they've waited for Andrews to get fit, whilst Buxton still use R/R for Jones who's barely ridden all season.
All tracks should be given a chance to host major events if they're deemed to be of a high enough standard! Cardiff is 'out on a limb' in South Wales, but does perfectly fine.
How much NL racing do you watch? It's not bad racing with Brits only. Plus one foreigner per team wouldn't make any difference to the standard of racing because they're only in 4 heats per meeting and the best rider often gates to win anyway!
It still wouldn't be fair because that would explicitly go against the rules, which clearly states you only use averages from 2011 onwards. That would just make the Hall decision consistent but both illegal.
Tbf to Buxton they gave fans a good 2-3 weeks notice compared to Stoke's 1 week. Which is even more gratuitous when you consider that Stoke have known of their issue for months.
Only if Hamill literally has a British passport. I don't know if he does but jubilee clip says he hasn't applied for one so therefore he can't ride NL. However Spiller can.
Ok, I didn't add onto the bottom that you can't do national champs (like when Jake Anderson was stopped from riding NL) but you can do the U21s equivalent (like BWD). Simply because it was irrelevant to the Hamill/Spiller query.
Spiller can ride NL. The eligibility is that you have to have a British passport but Len wanted to make the kids sign a paper that commits them to Team GB. That never came to fruition and is unlikely to hold any value in reality anyway.
