From the ACU Competition Licence and SGB Registration form, signed by all riders applying for an ACU Licence:- Further conditions to be satisfied are that you: Understand that a refusal to assist in an SRBF collection when requested to do so is an offence and may result in your name being removed from the list of Benefactors. Agree, when you are a party to a BSPA contract to fulfil all British Speedway commitments, including rearranged fixtures on which reasonable notice has been given. Understand that a breach may result in action being taken, the penalties for which includes fines and or suspension of the SCB Registration and/or ACU Licence. Will observe and comply with all Track Notices and instructions that may be particular to that track.

Nowhere near as good IMO. A few more nails in the coffin, and it will have sunk almost to the level currently occupied by the likes of Corbyn and Abbott. It's a terrible shame.

For me also, Tomasz is one of my favourite riders of all time. Best wishes for the future Tomasz. -
Sick and shameful. These trolls should get back to doing what they do best, which is sponging off the State, thieving and licking the sewers. The Promotions were placed in an unenviable position by a decision that wasn't thought through properly at the BSPA AGM last November. I hope there is enough evidence that could lead to legal proceedings against the trolls. Don't let them win, because Sheffield have had their best season for a long time. Keep up the good work, and thank you for your efforts.

Exactly. The biggest load of tripe since there were 4 tripe stalls in the local market.

Still no announcement about a ban for Jack Holder.

I assume that they are waiting to see how the KO Cup matches against Ipswich go.

From the Speedwaygb web site:- EASTBOURNE star Jake Knight has been banned for the clubs next two home matches following his non-appearance at the NLRC last weekend. Knight missed the Leicester showpiece citing a lack of a serviceable engine following a meeting at Belle Vue the previous evening. The Eagles have drafted in Ben Morley to guest in this Saturdays KO Cup semi-final against Plymouth, but no guest will be possible in the play-off clash with Kent one week later as Knight will no longer be No.1 in the Eagles averages. I feel sorry for the lad. Have any riders in the PL or CL ever been banned for missing BSPA meetings? This ban has been announced fairly quickly, but nothing yet on the Jack Holder farce.

Sheffield V Ipswich 1st Leg 28/0917
Blackadder replied to Moranboys's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
From the Sheffield web site:- Josh Grajczonek is battered and bruised after a nasty spill in Scotland and is desperate to ride – but club chiefs will make an early check with him on the day. Josh Bates was in a horror crash and early fears were of a neck injury – but after a trip to hospital it was confirmed nothing is broken and, like Grajczonek, he wants to ride. Hopes are also high for Lasse Bjerre to race after his spill. Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “It was a nightmare to be honest and it hardly felt like we’d won through to a Grand Final. “Thankfully there is no serious damage but with time short ahead of the first leg at Owlerton we need riders who are 100% fit. We will know more in the morning.” -

Sheffield V Glasgow Po Semi-final 21 Sep
Blackadder replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The track staff are usually given access to the track between 3.30 and 4.00, so it depends on what the slop is like, as it is still raining. No more rain forecast after about 5.00, so given the circumstances for this match, no doubt the Promotion will do all they can to get the match on. -
