I heard that Redcar and Leicester are in the same situation, but can't comment about Scunthorpe.

Like some other tracks, Sheffield have been waiting for a delivery of shale for months, but keep getting told that there are problems. A delivery is promised in about 5 weeks; time passes, and it's another 5 weeks, and so on.

Although Rob Branford signed for Sheffield for 2017 before he signed for Rye House, and his contract is owned by Redcar, who are in the same league as Sheffield, the original decision that Sheffield would get priority has been reversed, because he rode for Rye House last year. Sheffield aren't best pleased about it.
