Biased or not, I think you have a fair and valid point. Aside from the good form Mads has shown, it is beyond comprehension that a rider currently out with a borken leg is selected for a wildcard place. I could perhaps understand if it was a qualifier and KB had qualified (with Mads as a reserve) and KB saying he wanted to give it a go, however its for a wildcard slot which will be in effect a one off meeting for either rider. When is Kenneth aiming to make his comeback?

Thats probably due to the fact Trick was ahead on so many occasions where as Holta has a habit of doing it less often, personally I dont think thereis anything suspect, Holta in the past has shown that if he gets out in front he flies as is the case for a lot of other riders, I just wonder why they dont show that same speed when behind others even Nicki P top an extent, he looked a bit lost when Tomicek would not let him up the inside...

I for one quite enjoyed the gp, yes the track was a little dodgy but it all added to the evening. AJ v Gollob, A racing incident gone wrong, Gollob really didnt give AJ anywhere to go and I was very surprised that Steele excluded Gollob. Lindgren caused me a lot of discomfort throughout the meeting as he piled on the points. All thorughout the week I had been banging on how he was my each way bet for the night, I then decided against having a bet!! Harris is looking totally different to the rider that started the series last year, his gating has gotten worse from the tail end of the last year, and his bikes do not seem Jet Propelled like last year, perhaps this is down to his confidence levels but will struggle to get anywhere near the top eight. Nicholls has gone backwards after Cardiff he was much improved last year, yes his gating does let him down however its not so much that its the fact he has no plan for the first bend, he often gets to the bend level but gets shoved out, last year he ride first corners alot better and it improved his results, IMO the sooner he comes back to Brandon the better for him as I think he is better rider when riding and captaining the bees. I expect him to score more than Harris throughout the season but again I think will struggle for a top 8 place leaving the organisers in an uncomfortable position with regards to a wild card. Hans Andersen looked racy and took a nasty spill no matter what injuries he has ended up with it could have been a hell of a lot worse. Congratulations to Holta he flew when it mattered and Nicki P without really doing much still scored some decent points and to be honest I dont think he has a clear rival for the big prize as all the others will continue to take points away from each other.

I have often said the same Col, as for the GP the standard of racing dropped off after the rain which was shame. I am still mystified at AJ choosing blue knowing he would have had NP underneath him. Overall a decent start to the season.

never been one of Rorys biggest fans, even though he rides for the bees, but he is a very focused very professional head on his shoulders and knows the hard work he needs to put in. He will at the very least become a good number 1 in the various leagues around the world, and f he can become a bit harder and more ruthless then he has the potential and speed to become a world champion. Obviously he needs to fulfill that but he is going the right way about it.

Going but not staying over this time, we did so last year and although in some ways it was nice to go home in the morning for a couple of hours drinking it was not really worth it.

Malilla, Sweden 10,640 Prague, Czech Rep 9,800 Krsko, Slovenia 8,000 Daugavpils, Latvia 7,000 Eskilstuna, Sweden 6,500 Lonigo, Italy 4,300 So going on attendances, you have to wonder why Sweden is still getting 2 gp's and is it worth going to Lonigo? What are the title of the round I would imagine that one of the Swedish counts as the Scandinavian GP? if So surely that should move around? for instance it could go to Vojens etc. Especially while we have a Danish World champ. Im sure some people would say the same with regards to the European GP but the crowds are continually good in Poland. You could argue that oing on attendances there should be another in the UK but I cant think of an existing speedway stadium that is big enough.

Hold on Trick qualified for every gp series he was involved in, usually by being the defending champion. Also what is to stop somebody like Tai Woffinden going through the qualifying rounds now? Perosnally I think he would struggle to score more than 6 points in the british final at the minute.

Yep I saod that myself both went into the bend a bit too hot, Bomber moved off line and tried to hold onto the line Nicholls nudged him, Bomber came off a bit too easy imo. So Nicholls got it wrong and I think Bomber got it wrong by going down a bit easy.

Poor state in speedway if one of those does go and is replaced by Tomicek as he is not in the class of those 3

Seb I think what people are reacting to is the fact that some people are stating there is bad feeling between the 2 riders ever since Bomber joined the gp's this season.

yes got to agree poor presentation, in fact the whole event was a bit of a let down due to the track.

Who are the others? people who watch them every other week on the tv..... Why should Scott be seen on tv jumping for joy when Bomber does well? it is an indidual competition..... As I said we see them every week and there seems to be no problem, they may or may not get on however as long as they continue to ride together like they have for the last 3 years bees fans will be happy. Rob are you sure Bomber would not try to pass somebody ? I mean we are talking about the Bomber who left Nicholls no option but to shut off on the straight? Both boys were racing hard....

Well there is some absolute piffle on here.... First of all let me state it was a racing incident, Bomber got knocked and slid off, Scottie was very lucky to get away with it. However it was not in any way malicous both were racing very hard ie NIcholls took bomber out on the first corner and then Bomber passed Nicholls and made him shut off, they both went onto the corner a bit too hot, I think Bomber tried to shut the door but left a gap which Nicholls tried to go through. Somebody laughingly stated that Nicholls even looked at Bomber before knocking him off, well of coourse he looked at him after all they were in very close proximity at 60 mph on bikes with no brakes, do you really think he should ride with blnkers on? It also makes me laugh about how people state nicholls is jealous, really? how do you know that? I see them every week at Brandon and I see no problem between them......

Can I ask how they could have team rode seeing as Holta had flew from the gate and was miles in front?

Dreadfully boring meeting, well done AJ. As for Scottie and Bomber.... well you could see them coming together as soon as NIcholls went wideand then cut back. They got to the same point of the corner at the same time, however 99.9999 Scott would have been chucked out, however he was'nt, he has qualified for next year and I am sure Bomber will get a nomination.

I still cant understand why Smoli is not in the meeting, he is much better than Hefenbrock.

sounds serious, as he tried to get away from the Police, any news on what his punishment will be? To me it sounds like a case of burn out, he has lots and lots of attention in the sport and it sounds like he does not want to ride anymore.
