  1. I cans ee it happening if injuries and motivation do get in the way. I think since his first win he has wanted to be classed with the big boys and to be a danish legend you need at least 3, ie in Olsen and Gundersen class, so as long as he wishes to become the Dane with most individual wins under his belt he needs to go to 5, which is the number i personally think he will stay at.
  2. Looking at that has just bought back a memory of TK walking on his hands in the bar at Hyde Road, Dave Clarke trying and failing to copy him. TK = Legend!
  3. Monumental effort to win the meeting while no doubt suffering the after effects of Gpitis.
  4. An interesting gp once again. I thought riders were supposed to stay still at the tapes now? If so Nicholls touching the tapes was an unsatisfactory as Gollob did him again with a quick movement. Lindgren AJ and Nicki, tough one, people can say had Pedersen not tried to clamp down etc but Lindgren made the cut back to lenthen "the straightaway" was "charging hard" then ended up as "meat in the sandwich" like I say a tough one to call. Dryml was downright stupid and the reactions after the race was imo good as it spiced proceedings up. Pedersen and Crump, to me its clear Crump had passed him and Nicki tried to lie all over him and I think did did get his foot caught on Crumps bike, however the decision made was the correct one, To be fair to Pedersen he may have stayed on had he not got his foot caught. Golob got his comeuppance for his unposrting ways as he was rightly excluded against Crump, there is clear contact between the two and it happened just as crump was using his leg as bslance so it definetly caused him to fall. I am not a p[articular fan of Crump but he definetly deserved the overall victory on the night and was denied by a sick bike. Hans won it however a gp victory from a bees rider or former bee favourite has never been so flat as it was acheived on the back of a nasty bout of gp'itis, Well done to Bjarne who rode very well.
  5. A decent gp tonight, although I thought the track a little too slickdecent result for nicjholls and very shocked at the winneras I though nobody aside from Pedersen or Gollob stood a chance, btw who was celebrating their birthday? safrican american
  6. Surely it would make sense to bring in another round as well so the riders are not sitting around for 3 weeks or a month waiting for the last round.
  7. it will be interesting to see him in a few years, when he is no longer a junior, an age when some of the Polish talents fail to reach the heights people expect.
  8. I was certainly surprised at Bjarne, and not really sure what he was complaining about. I was also laughing loads at NP "offering" advice to Bjarne, he was certainly putting a point across Leigh Adams lived up to his nickname of Mr Clean last night, that is the cleanest I have ever seen a rider in such attrocious conditions, especially considering his race positions. The Poles were a tad unlucky and had Walasek not bottled the meeting they more than likely could have had the gold medal. All in all a good meeting.
  9. http://www.weathercity.com/dk/vojens/ According to that there is a chance of a thunderstorm, I bet Ole is scraping the shale off himself
  10. I think the very least we can expect is an improved performance From Monday, I still hope we can sneak into the final if the Poles dont turn up. I also expect the boys to attend practice, and then to inspect the track once they return to the stadium as the chances are it will be slicker than it was in the afternoon.
  11. Picked to ride for his country on numerous occasions??? He was easily the only Brit to come out with any credit last night, he is after all an Elite League 2nd string at the mo and certainly did not digrace himself.
  12. The minor nations already rided against each other, to qualify for round 1 and round 2, they then get the chance to go against the big boys which will help them improve, I like the format this way.
  13. probably an idea to check speedway world website
  14. Good stuff Super B, some of it cheesy and not to my tastes but other people loved it and I am sensible enough to realise that all of your work is not directly aimed at me. I have said before ( and also contacted Brandon) to state you are missed. Best of luck with securing more gp's.
  15. I've had a ring around this morning, also checked the web to find that everything is sold out... Im on currently on a reserved list for a hotel and thats the best I could find.
  16. What a brilliant thread.... Poor old Nicki is most upset about being booed... I booed him, especially when Holta took him off quite by accident and before checking on how Holta was, Nicki is up and waving his arms at his new best mate to get Holta excluded. It seems the constant complaining about Polish referees has worked out in the end, I await to see how soon it is before they give Nicki his personal choice of gates because he had gate 3 on 2 seperate occasions once again. How very dare they!
  17. Excellent day as per usual at Cardiff, the crowd was fantastic and helped by decent performances from Scottie and Bomber. I still cant believe Scott in the final, it really highlights the imporatant role of the mental aspect in speedway. Crump was excellent and a deserved winner, the 3 Pedersen incidents were all wrong Still all in all a very good day!
  18. Dont forget to add my preference of Holtas scorecard, along with Vics. so that makes it 4 for Holta! Bjarnes is a right mess!
  19. http://www.holta-racing.com/filelib/2008_cardiff.pdf There we go... Thats what I will be using.
  20. Personally I dont think Howe would be that close, Kennett and Woffinden would be ahead of him.
  21. Well if true about Olsen regarding Mads, then Mads is in a very bad place.
