  1. Danes sneaking back into it! Sulky Sullivan!!
  2. Lis, I think the Danes would have got 2nd place easily and perhaps 1st place had they not been decimated by injuries, add Bjarne cant seem to anything of note...
  3. Yep good stuff off track, dissapointed about Nicholls, he needs to sort himself out, he should have been around. Rico excellent value in the SWC again. Great stuff in the commentary box Kelvin rabbitting on and you can hear Pearson off mic shouting for Rico!
  4. Tee hee, some people are looking a bit silly after the entertainment served up so far. It will be a bit of a pi**er, they are doing ok so far, and if we can keep Sweden at around 4 points it can limit the damage of the joker. Kenny Bear coming in with a joker now, he has had a very good campaign. AJ as joker in 19!! finger nails are chewed, lables on beer bottles ripped off! *Tai should have yanked Kenny Bear's roll off*
  5. Eddie should be riding in Poland on a regular basis, as he isnt I would not pick him for tonight, and if his enthusiasm wanes because of being dropped then we dont really want him in the team ever again, These men are paid sportsmen, the better they are the better they get paid, if they are not able to take and learn from dissapointment they are never going to amount to much, they do not need treating with kid gloves.
  6. There must be forum posters who know which riders have travelled to Poland, for instance does anybody if Nicholls has travelled?
  7. As soon as the scots are good enough they will get picked to ride for Great Britain.
  8. If thats the team Topaz, I am interested to see why Nicholls was not in the pits for the meeting, Was he practising with the rest of the squad during the day?
  9. I still think the danes will have too much for us, however its certainly a better chance than if they had Nicki P riding and Bjarne on top form...
  10. Oh dear Fur Burger!! While King did well on Monday we do have to remember it was on a track that he knows very well, so I am not expecting too much from him at Leszno, We have seen in the past Leszno is not all about riding the fence there are multiples lines which is what makes it a fantastic track (if prepared properly). As for the thread question, I think I would go with Rico for Eddie and Nicholls for Tai, Nicholls deserves a chance under the new regime, however due to his poor form I would not put him as captain and if he is stroppy then Lyon needs to put him in his place!
  11. There has been some brilliant races tonight, as they keep on saying, the SWC keeps on delivering. I would be very dissapointed if Nicholls is not there and is riding in the race off, I can understand him not being there if he has been told he will not be picked for Thursday but if there is a chance of him being picked he should be there tonight.
  12. The qualifying rounds perhaps... As for the Brits, doing ok in patches, Tedward and Tai have struggled, Danny King has been well worth his pick, bridger I think has rode sensible lines and seems to be a decent voice in the pits. All in all doing ok tonight.
  13. My expectations are that we get back to the level we were at a couple of years back under Middlo, as we have slipped mightily even from the the last final appearance under Middlo when we were outclassed. Lyon needs to work on the morale of the team as last year we had a disastrous campaign, led by a guy that was not up to the job and petty squabbling between Harris and Nicholls. The russians have proved that with top equipment and a good spirit, shocks can happen as Sayfutdinov aside our riders should at least be the match of the Russian riders.
  14. Looking forward to seeing what the boys can do tonight, I was thinking earlier, its a big night for Bomber, captain, top rider, and most internationally experienced of the brit boys, so lets hope he can play a captains role, we have seen him do it at times for the bees so lets hope he can do it on the bog stage, good luck boys.
  15. Surely Adams will ride now as Rory and Ward are out for a while.
  16. I think the brits will regret not picking Nicholls and even more so Rico...
  17. I think a wildcard spot is reserved for Bomber, if he qualifies via the top 8 or gp challenge, then we may get a wilcard choice, I would suggest thats up for grabs for anybody that shines in the WTC. If Bomber misses out I cant see how we can have 2 wilcard choices again...
  18. Oh dear Nicholls tried to ride off a few times, you can see him shaking his finger at him, Emil then carried on with it.
  19. Would you like a biscuit with your cup of tea vicar... I am just completly shocked at all of the beer spillage, such a waste!
  20. Nicholls was not pushed to the floor, he did pick his goggles up after but was not knocked to the floor. yep totally agree, it was a decent surface, well done.
  21. Only after repeatedly telling Emil to go away, yet he kept on pushing it, I can understand the riders getting wound up but Holloway was a disgrace, it had nothin to do with him and he took a cheap shot, this should have been investigated, I also note he was not keen to get in between Emil and Scott as they walked back down to the pits he was rather content to hide Emil and other pit members.
