  1. It will need to be a decent prize as Nicholls lost his footing then was straight back up throwing a sweet right hand
  2. The fact this very rarely happens now suggests such draconian punishments are not needed and that comes from a Nicholls fan who would get the lesser treatment.
  3. Well that was a ruckus... good job Emil had his helmet on cos if the right hand Nicholls threw had connected with his chin who knows... It certainly affected Emil more, and it made me laugh that Emil kept his helmet on as he walked back through the pits where as Scottie looked like he could have carried on. Perhaps his inital reaction is more signs he is struggling with the pressure. Crump on the other was awesome well done to hjim and surely another world championship in the bag.
  4. Sayfutdinov v Pedersen in heat 1!!! bring it on boys!
  5. OOH they have matching jackets, look out world here we come! Saying that, I suppose we need to start somewhere, and getting together for press calls etc is better than we ever had before, lets hope they shared info with each other regarding set ups etc.
  6. Remaining Riders Jason CRUMP AUSTRALIA £50,000 Andreas JONSSON SWEDEN £35,000 Emil SAYFUTDINOV RUSSIA £25,000 Outgoing riders Hans ANDERSEN DENMARK £45,000 Scott NICHOLLS GREAT BRITAIN £35,000 Incomcing riders Nicki Pedersen £50,000 Seb Ulamek £30,000 Crump capt for Cardiff please.
  7. Boring gp, made worse by the fact I had the one bet tonight and that was on The russian who rides on a Polish licence! very interesting of Huewen to mention the oversized engine rumour.
  8. Rick Miller, John Cook, Ermolenko the Morans.
  9. You must have a very dry sense of humour! Belle Vue saw the best of him in 05....
  10. I have been playing a tactical game (forgot to choose a capt for the the first 2 rounds) and feel its now time to stop giving others a chance, therefore I announce Jason Crump as my captain please.
  11. Could you remind me of that decent racing?
  12. You just know that the "race organisers will make a mess of track preperation and then blame it all on the sunshine / rain, leaves on the track, its a decent price for the event but I think I watch it on the tv or down the pub.
  13. Why would you pay to go and watch that?
  14. I believe Johnno said something along the lines that the Lezno track people had a done a great job then a gp official came out and told them to pack it all down, a recipe for disaster. Olsen needs to be sent a video of the Scunny, Wolves and Somerset meetings to see what sort of racing they offered, it was due to those meetings that I sat looking forward to watching the gp this weekend only to realise that after 2 laps of the opening race I knew we would not see anything of note. The only drive anybody picked up was on the home straight where it had built up against the fence and you could then dive bomb up the inside of somebody if they drifted 3 foot away from the kerb.
  15. Can somebody please inform me the meaning of this saying "better never than late"? Confused me all evening....
  16. Yep here's hoping it continues, I knew Nicki would give him a hard run to the first corner in the semi, and I dare say his card is well and truly marked now. one meeting.... after a winter that was disrupted by illness, if by the mid season point he is no where then it will be time to concede stepping out has not really worked. Totally agree, I was discussing bets with Beesboybert at the football and said I would only put money on Lindgren at each way, got home and forgot to do it, Bert had of course backed Sayfutdinov!! Well Harris is qualifying and with the final round at coventry he should be in witha decent chance, I really do think Nicholls should have followed the same route.
  17. Good work Pete, I am happy to enter this years tournament now it is no longer being run by that inadequate sort Bert! My team is as follows. Jason CRUMP AUSTRALIA £50,000 Hans ANDERSEN DENMARK £45,000 Scott NICHOLLS GREAT BRITAIN £35,000 Andreas JONSSON SWEDEN £35,000 Emil SAYFUTDINOV RUSSIA £25,000 That comes in bang on the £190,000 limit. * I have just realised that I have picked the same team as Bert... bugger off Bert!*
  18. Looking at the meeting you would have expected those to go through with the exception of Smoli, but he was riding "at home" so you can perhaps expect it. Well done Bomber and well done Smoli, good to see Lindback carrying on his decent return to the sport.
  19. Awful idea introduced by Bernie and the FIA, I almost hope somebody wins the first 5 or 6 races and then the next faive are all split between differing drivers so the the title is decided in July!
  20. They need to actually declare they are going to try and qualify in the first place... It poses an interesting question for Harris and Nicholls since both in the past have refused to try and go through these meetings. You would expect that the normal fare of rider in these events normally would would struggle to beat Harris or Nicholls around Brandon. Thinking about it I dont expect to see Nicholls to try and qualify, but if I was Bomber (going on last years performances) I suppose the only thing is that if they failed to qualify then there would be no chance of a wild card pick. Do you think IMG tell them not to qualify?
