  1. Is that the one that buckles up round the back? It on the hook outside you padded room Witches by 20
  2. Which is utterly ridiculous - he is either declared or released - it cannot be both How can it possibly be right to confirm a contract as cancelled but then have any control over a new contract being agreed without any financial consideration provided to retain that condition
  3. Agreed - No brainer choice. Closest you will get to a new signing. Provides continuity and maintains some semblance of integrity to a farcical situation
  4. Witches should've booked Tobi as a guest - he is eligible as officially considered still in a declared 1-7
  5. Freddie can only guest once he has ridden 3 home 3 away and established a new average Interesting point re Tobi - he currently is in a declared 1-7 (hence we can't sign him) so in theory could guest. Worth a try even if only to prove a point.....
  6. A shoddy, unprofessional approach from Buster (again) Should be made to run with 2 NDL riders
  7. Perhaps he will want to run it so that it takes Ippo to 75%, scuppers the move for Tobi and THEN he makes the changes which releases Tobi from the Lynn declaration.....
  8. Perhaps it was the actually getting paid bit that was attractive - you can't earn less than zero
  9. If only it were only 2 wrongs - even you lot in Norfolk don't have enough fingers and toes to keep up with that count
  10. Yet a team can drop a rider at any time with no notice and no financial liability Qutting/withholding services carries a 28 day ban - once served he should be free to ride elsewhere If not every dropped rider should be due a full seasons income for such a binding contract
  11. If KL are blocking the Witches from using TM then I would hope they encourage the team to refuse any guest bookings...
  12. There are a set of principles drawn up depending on experience and league participation which outline the figures
  13. We will never know if there was really a difference as in the gap between his aborted comeback there was no qualifier or Polish meeting Brady only missed an extra BV meeting whilst "reinjured" If there had been an important individual meeting or a scheduled Polish meeting I believe he would've ridden but that is only an opinion not fact
  14. There in lies one of Speedways problems - the truth is not always appreciated
  15. I tend to agree with the principle you set out - makes a lot of sense although it effectively makes the ban for withholding a whole season rather than 28 days For that to be fair however I would say riders would argue for that to happen any rider dropped would need to be paid for the season (or until redeployed) Also bear in mind how biased the withholding services situation is towards teams. Riders can be threatened with the ban even when doing so for not paid being for weeks/months
  16. Tobi M To some extent you can understand the decision to reject given another team is still using a facility for him However he has left that team and served the regulatory ban so should be free to sign
  17. Yes - for Ipswich it's Dan Thompson even if he isn't riding It is the team declaration that has the stipulation - any given meeting it could be different if one or more are missing Facility as per the regs
  18. Would be the Rising Star equivalent of the "how do you replace Jason Doyle?" dilemma Best wishes to Dan
  19. Heard the sad news on the radio this evening An instantly recognised voice for Speedway fans. His deep knowledge of the sport was obvious and he relayed it with great style and presence RIP Edwin
