  1. Indeed - it's not often that a dislocated hip is good news!!
  2. Absolutely gutted for Jason All the best for a full and speedy recovery
  3. I think Sheffield should have enough to pick up the win, albeit a tight one under a 10 point margin It could actually be a good thing for the Witches as it would just reduce a bit of the hype If Sheffield can make it 16+ then that's more of a statement of their own potential
  4. Definitely photoshopped...... Crowd far too numerous
  5. It's probably because the p!$$ poor pay rates means you lose money even on a good day let alone if you get a F or EF and end up with a big bill
  6. Seems like the process is seen as more important than the purpose - which is rarely a recipe for success
  7. Good explanations and graphics on TNT but the whole format looked a mess on track and was just a bit dull Could at least start together even if on opposite straights like a cycling pursuit Better still a proper match race even if only over 2 laps
  8. The idea seems OK but reality unlikely to match it If it just means Emil,Bewley and a Holder don't return (as is most likely) all that will happen is the remaining 'better' riders just gravitate to the teams that have that saved cash available to attract them
  9. So Doyle rides for Ippo and Emil says goodbye to British Speedway That worked out well for the sport.....
  10. Grading would be not different to using a team building average In fact it could make it worse At least with an average if you have a rider on 6.5 and one on 6 you use an extra half a point to pick the higher one If they are both grade B that differential goes....
  11. Actually on BSN Rory on comms was saying he was gasping and how he had gotten a cup everywhere else but hadn't on Thursday
  12. Think Lambert would've been around the same £5k a pop as JD/ES are......
  13. Someone mentioned to me that Oxford spent a lot of the afternoon practising - perhaps that was why there was not enough attention and it wasn't in decent condition
  14. Recent weather has been perfect to enable prep of a tip top track - really poor effort Water in wrong places at the wrong time??
  15. It needs to be capable of receiving a signal - without an aerial it's effectively just a monitor Knowing Baldy I reckon his is one of those about 3 feet deep and weighing in the region of 300 lbs
  16. The drugs followed another unsavoury situation so I'd say he doesn't learn the lessons a second chance give him......
  17. Even if he was guaranteed to score a perfect 12 average he wouldn't be in any team I was choosing......
  18. Any team with any sense would steer well clear If he is the answer, you don't want to be asking the question
