The 'new No1' doesnt necessarily have to have the highest starting average and come in at No1 whatever the reserve option It's really the 5th 6th and 7th riders everyone is guessing at. A week is a long time in politics and the same goes for speedway team building!

Personally I like giving the Brits a helping hand so if it's under 3 for them it's fine by me It is the fact that such a crucial element of the sport is unknown to those it should be most concerned about - the fans
