  1. Just think how much you will be looking forward to it by next week
  2. From the end of June through September there should be weekly home speedway which should be prime time to attract the casual supporter The fixture list even this year is set up for that so not all bad Just need to get the team fully in gear and could still salvage something from 2018!
  3. I see the Norfolk air has already addled your brain
  4. Something that seems to have slipped under the radar is that when we do finally get back on track we will have a different No1 Not because Danny wont be back (hopefully he will be) but because Rory now tops the averages (Good to still have an 'English' No1 mind ) Decisions needed again with the riding order - do we put the original pairs back together with Cam going to 2 and Nico back at 5 or just put Danny at 5
  5. Whichever of Worky or Glasgow finish 2nd in that group has to achieve at least 14 points to be sure of the best placed 2nd 13 or less and Boro will progress IF they manage to beat the Witches
  6. Eddie will have the odd shocker but overall will no doubt prove a valuable signing Puts Boro up with the favourites for sure
  7. But the post I quoted only mentioned the NL and young Brits - it had nothing to do with Milik
  8. Who said it was Karma for Redcar - they may just the unfortunate related party in the episode
  9. You most certainly did say lets take advantage I have quoted in full this time to show so In summary you are happy to mix in the Brits if Poole get a Flint or a Kemp. Im sure if they are destined elsewhere you will not have such a keen interest in their development as it would not be to Pooles advantage
  10. Most of the rest was just waffle in reality - the section I left shows the only bit really important to you..... and sums up a significant proportion of the Poole mentality
  11. The average reduction is there for where a rider has missed at least 1 full season through injury - Milik doesnt meet that. The regulation about a rider potentially being reassessed after being outside British speedway for a number of years could result in an increase as well as a reduction depending on their performance in the interim (and precedent in Poole's team in this very season that this has not been apllied either way)
  12. ^^ comedy gold^^ A discount for Milik for not being here since 2015
  13. Never thought any offence was meant or would be taken - just a jokey response from me I like Ruff's laid back posting style and not doubt whilst there has been plenty posted that you could be offended by Neil this wouldnt be one of them! Your ability to just let the crap slide by and continue to post constructive and informative posts is most commendable
  14. Not sure thats a catchphrase anyone wants to be associated with any longer
  15. The quality of the riders and to a certain extent even the racing isnt the only criteria for 'the best league' debate. The set up of fixtutes, continuity of teams, cross club collaboration, cost/income ratio etc Dont get me wrong on this one - the Championship has gone significantly backwards this year on the above. However I feel a lot of that has resulted from changes in the attempt to put right the Premiership which is a bit of a basket case
  16. Not at all - neither league is in a paticularly good position at present The Championship level however is the sustainable one for Ipswich and IMO the vast majority of clubs (both existing Championship and some currently in the Premiership) I just think its far more attractive (and likely) for a number from above will want to join Ipswich at Championship level rather than Ipswich going the other way
  17. Why would Ipswich want to join the shower of Sh!te that is the Premiership?
