  1. Crescent Girl has cleared this up on the Berwick match thread this morning The compassionate grounds for the facility related to Mrs Lawson being admitted to hospital late Friday and therefore permission was granted for Richard to miss the meeting in order to be with her Seems perfectly reasonable to me and the ensuing debate wouldve been avoided with a better worded Lakeside press release Best wishes to the Lawsons - hope any scare is over and recovery is full and speedy
  2. Thanks for clearing it all up Glad to hear that Mrs L is recuperating at home - best wishes to both of them
  3. Howarth was not reported as ill He was explained as having an injury of a bruised thigh from a racing incident so very different
  4. Thats rules out section 'g' out of 'a' to 'n' of the facilities section of the regs then Perhaps you could indicate under which of the remaining options the facility was granted......
  5. Far from it - perhaps a cliche but what about transparency? Also regarding Lemo being happy with it - so what if he is. Two teams cant between themselves just choose to ignore the regs
  6. More a case of ensuring the regulations are followed If that means a 7 day lay off then so be it if thats what the particulat regulation states Whether the Aces management choose to enquire about his validity is irrelevant.
  7. So why not just put on compassionate grounds in the first place I think everyone accepts that around births and deaths etc
  8. Which means a 7 day sit out from the day of the meeting missed
  9. No regulation in the book to alliw a facility for that Either Saturdays facility was against the regs or him returning within 7 days is This reg is actually one that has been amended this year exactly to avoid this type of situation yet has been ignored...
  10. Those that do will most likely become those that used to soon - used to go that is.....
  11. So what was the reason a facility was granted on Saturday then?
  12. If Scunny go to 14 pts they will top that group and Sheff on 13 would miss out to Boro if you beat the Witches For Worky to get to 14 would mean Glasgow not getting 14 (I think!) and so again 2nd place in that group cant out do Boro should they beat the Witches
  13. Just seen on the Kings Lynn thread that Lewis Rose has posted on Facebook that he is taking a break from the sport....
  14. I would expect overall race point difference from the whole group fixtures
  15. Which would mean them topping the group to qualify If they end on 13 or less then whomever us 2nd in that group will not be best runner up if Boro win
  16. If Peterborough win their home match then 13 points from a 4 team group wont be enough Average 2.17 points per meeting and Boro would have 2.25 average (9 from 4) You need my Witches to do you a favour....
  17. I agree with you Webby and have posted similar myself before Poole were also for Wedsnesday for the top league so it wasnt just the Thurdsay Championship clubs
  18. Nico is out for the next few weeks with broken ribs from a crash at Ipswich on Sat 21st Castagna tops the standings in the Italian Championship after the first few rounds and must be favourite to get yhe nod for a wildcard
  19. Look on the rolling averages thread in general section Gambo (who I understand provides the software for the BSPA stats) this week has stated 2017 meetings WILL now count towards a 20 match rolling figure (after a u turn) 4h 4a with shield meetings not counting was the original reg for this year (with new riders still needing this) Whether the reg on shield meetings counting has also been adjusted doesnt appear to have been confirmed
  20. So not following your own advice as per the last line of your original 'rebuke'
  21. All the riders couldnt ride on Thursday Lakeside at Ipswich so Swindon would be missing 3 instead....
