  1. Is there stocks on 28th? If so the 21st not an option as stadium use is limited to 2 meetings in any 8 day period
  2. We have another reserved date on May 31st..... Oh hang on Swindon ride Belle Vue So we have half a dozen reserved Thursdays before August and Swindon ride on them all so Lakeside are unavailable
  3. Has also disappeared from the BSPA site monthly listings where it was showing yesterday September it is then
  4. The cup now being on June 14th also sees Swindon host Rye so if that date not changing then guests will be in order for either Robins or (more likely) Lakeside anyway
  5. Seems you were just ahead of the game Badge - for the home leg at least https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1976470832394694&id=172498052791990
  6. A few puddles on the driveway and odd patches wet but mostly very dry in car park
  7. Just passing by so popped in and car park and track look in decent shape I will post a couple of pics if crop works to get with forum file size limits!
  8. Looks like even the base has washed away - note the inside kerb floating The rain only got heavier in the last 2 days so in that picture the track is probably significantly better than it is now!! No way of getting that into shape for Thursday even if we had 2 days of sunshine and a 30° heatwave IMO
  9. There are times when the adverts are more welcome than the posts......
  10. No need to apologise Badge Its just a shame a new date isnt as easily and speedily knitted into the list And not impossible that those dates do revert to the Shield rather than the cup - after all its tradition for the first round of one side of the cup draw to not be completed until September
  11. Sheffield were I believe ready to move up if required Ipswich prefered not to but perhaps if Thursday was so important to the Premiership then their bluff shouldve been called Redcar I would doubt would be in any position to move up with the crowd levels especially given they would be way out on a limb in a basically southern league Matt Ford was also very keen on maintaining Wednesday for Poole as well
  12. I remember last year it was our fan that predicted Berwick to top the league as a result of Gary Havelock's man management........
  13. Equally I think a team shouldnt be able to refuse a fixture where the date is reserved for restaging of postponed fixtures Lakeside should be compelled to take a fixture if it is the only reasonable date available Priority over riders will then need to follow the regulations as set out Thats why fixed days for each league shouldve meant fixed days full stop
  14. It will certainly be a test of the new drainage A dry 24 before though always gives a chance when you have a decent set up to get things right Fingers crossed
  15. I remember as many early Good Friday meetings where it has been t-shirt and sunglasses rather than rain and called off so simply delaying the start of the season isnt the solution IMO Lets hope there is swift and efficient planning for all rearrangements - thats the more important issue
  16. Proof that Rory Schlein is getting on a bit - his team mates have put him out to grass.
  17. There lies the problem and why not having full segregation of race nights wiil still cause a mess (particularly if Lakeside visits to Thursday tracks fall foul) Ipswich have 2 reserved dates in April 12th and 19th - both now have Swindon fixtures The next spare Thursday is May 10th which is not reserved in Ipswich list but actually is in Swindon list Lakeside at Foxhall anyway on the 3rd as well so 2 weeks running far from ideal as well So if Good Friday is off Lakesides rearranged visit for the season opener shield comp could be in June in place of the reserved date for the semi finals if both sides are to track full teams!!
