  1. just put on blue overalls or a hi viz jacket and strutt around like you should be there..... 😲
  2. perhaps thats why we are riding on the Saturday even though Sheffield dont appear to have a fuxture on the Thursday.
  3. half lap races that dont finish til Tuesday - just how long is this track? 😆😛
  4. because in the previous years his top flight contract was signed before the fixture release. This years it hasnt been. Any top flight fixtures now would be classed as amended/rearranged and therefore the original fixtures take priority.
  5. Danny is 'owned' by Kings Lynn. Was Birmingham which reverted to BSPA. Kings Lynn bought the registration last summer
  6. could be length of service - slight adjustment this year where a rider re-signs for a club priority doesnt go to the league of the asset. However at both clubs for last 2 seasons so would expect league priority if a tie! Perhaps the agreed Coventry contract hasnt been signed at the tine of fixture release so priority is established on that basis...
  7. probably as not formally contracted to a Premiership club at the time of the fuxtures being issued...
  8. i think i heard the distant sound of champagne corks popping!! (Actually this is Peterborough it was probably pomagne 😉)
  9. Hopefully there will be something planned for a first meeting. Already glad I didnt go for a season ticket - booked to be away over Easter so will miss the pussycat visit. Couldve been out of pocket before end of first month!
  10. the project looks a rather modest cost in comparison to other ventures in the city. This week I saw the proposal for 'The Factory' an arts theartre and music venue. Cost was £110m with £22m coming from the council. A dual stage venue with total capcity at 7300. The NSS was a fraction of that.
  11. preferably against a full strengtg Kings Lynn side
  12. Fixtures due for release 9am Tuesday 24th so looks like its all decided. Just need confirmation of what the decisions are.....
  13. and you cant really blame those riders if they do. Horton has had a tremendous amount of goodwill (which probably he doesnt deserve personally) from the riders due to their respect for the club and the fans. Lets hope the decision to stick with him is justified for those that have.
  14. i like that idea in principle too - particularly as it could assist continuity and a team identity. The one question mark would be teams finding and/or affording sufficient higher quality riders to boost up the lower average teams. This would be a year on year issue too as if teams are building to say 47 points then overall the totals will fall regardless of which riders come in - you could have the top 70 riders in the world filling the 10 teams but there are only 90 points to claim from each meeting.
  15. presumably this is for the base. You can still prepare it like an over watered ploughed field after its nice and flat underneath if you choose.... 😆😆
  16. The limit will need to be higher again. 42.50 or above. Of course there could be a further shuffling of teams/leagues which throws it all open again.
  17. Great to hear that the healing process has gone well for Danyon. Heres hoping he can continue on the steep improvement curve from 2016. An exciting talent and a great level headed lad.
  18. From the reports this morning there were 1100 travelling Town fans - probably a similar number as regularly attend Foxhall. When people say Speedway is a £10 sport and current admissions are too high/poor value that doesnt really stack up. Those 1100 wouldve paid £25 a ticket and at least the same travel and will do it again and again despite the dross served up. So price IMO plays only a minor part in attendances.
  19. its all about balance - the Witches to make up for it.⚽➖ 🚴➕
