  1. I don't think they have said he cannot ride (officially they cannot do that with the agreement between the federations) but they could invoke changes in his deal From the Chinese whispers he was signed in Poland on the basis of not riding in the UK and a signing on fee agreed. Half paid in the winter and half to come at the start of the season I understand the second half was to be withdrawn from the deal if he continued in the UK and as that alone was worth more than he could earn in the entire UK season then it became a no brainer to give up the place with the Pussycats Maybe true, maybe not but it sounds a lot more feasible than the lame "my body isn't up to the technical British tracks" trotted out in the statement
  2. Usually because declarations have to be made available 3 days before so are often the basis for the previews two days before
  3. It's not raining its just the tears of BassoRacingFan , TTT etc al
  4. It seems to be out in the open now - the unplanned early and lengthy interval was due to tyre issues yet again
  5. 10+2 in Poland for Klindt so nothing wrong with his form it seems....
  6. Didn't take a hit in one race? You can never be sure how the body will react once the adrenaline drops.......
  7. Whether 6 points will be enough to see the Witches through who knows but this team should always be in the mix anywhere Definitely saw enough to be positive about Rew and Thompson doing what's required in their respective positions A relatively quiet meeting from Danyon (certainly for a home performance) but showed his worth with a determined heat 14 with him winning his battle also creating an opportunity for Riss to be back in contention Riss was poor and the difference between the slender lead gained and a more comfortable position. A disappointing showing but I don't doubt that will be put right. Looked mechanical rather than physical to me
  8. Because people know who pulls the strings in world speedway right now and could foresee the potential reaction from Polish clubs to the first hint to any risk to one of their big investments
  9. I think the Witches can eek out at least a 10 point advantage
  10. Poorer than the citizens of a Central African dictatorship.......
  11. Excellent that it has been rearranged quickly - has been a great issue in recent years that cup competition gets sidelined and causes issues with getting finals run
  12. The reason not to do this is juniors are generally used to less dirt and may struggle on a fresh surface This makes a crash more likely which could mean medical delays or fence repairs which actually delay or even jeopardise the main meeting
  13. Amazing! After one of the driest winters ever (allegedly) as soon as the Speedway season starts the weather gets into full swing monsoon season!!
  14. I didn't think that was allowed so close to a meeting......
  15. Any points potentially dropped by Nicki's withdrawal were compensated for by the non exclusions of Worrall in 3 and Iversen in 4 - both clearly over the white line
  16. Worrying signs for the Witches - Doyle fails to win a heat
  17. Sounds like the vast majority enjoyed themselves A decent wedge raised for the charity A Witches winner What's not to like
  18. Kings Lynn's big draw for theirs is an Easter Egg hunt
